Highly recommended

Friendly and helpful hosts, lovely property and the hot tub is great. We had unseasonably wintry weather on our visit, and enjoyed plenty of snowy woodland walks on the estate.

We had a lovely family time at The Mews. Hugh and Margaret were great hosts with Hugh going out of his way to show the kids the Shetland Ponies and chickens etc. Beautiful gardens and lots to explore and the hot tub and BBQ were an added bonus. Had a great 5 night stay at The Mews.

Had a great 5 night stay at The Mews. Huge and Margret were lovely and very hospitable. Hugh took us and our 2 year old son up to see the hens and collect eggs along with feeding the ponies. The wood fired hot tub was fun as well.

Nice accommodation though was cob webs every where along with squashed-mosquitos on window blinds and on a windy night the windows shook so couldn’t sleep, bath side was dirty and family time was disturbed by the owner joining us.

We had the most amazing holiday ever.

We had the most amazing holiday ever. The location was stunning. The grounds with acres of woodlands and a walled garden which could have been out of the Botanics made our holiday. The cottage was so homely and had lots of room for my elderly parents and myself and my 4 children. Loved the fact the bedrooms are reached by two separate stair cases either side of the property two bedrooms per stair case. The miniature Shetland ponies, hens, rope swing and streams kept the children entertained for hours. We all loved the hot tub in the court yard. Hugh and Margaret made our holiday they were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much bother. Looking to book up for next year already.

A fabulous location for a family break.

A fabulous location for a family break. The location is superb and the hosts couldn’t have been more hospitable even arranging a pony treck and Easter egg hunt. The grounds are fabulous and every child’s dream. We would definitely recommend and return.
