Comfortable cottage in stunning location.

1 Tullochclury is a semi-detached house (owners next door) situated half a mile down a forestry track with walks, cycling and mountain biking from the front door!
This property is ideally placed for touring the Highlands with Inverness 12 minutes by car, and the Cairngorm National Park just minutes away.
The area is perfect for wildlife with many species of birds as well as red squirrels visiting the garden feeder. If you walk 300 yds along the track you come to the beautiful Moy Loch where you can have fun spotting otters and osprey competing for the trout.
The house is warm and cosy with central heating and a wood burning stove (wood provided) and so is comfortable any time of the year. There is a bathroom (with shower over the bath) as well as a wet room (shower only)
A short drive away Dolphins can be seen from the beach or there are Dolphin watching boat trips from Inverness.
Tomatin distillery is 3 miles away where tours of the distillery are well worth a visit.

Nestled amidst serene landscapes, the holiday property exudes an aura of pristine tranquility. Inside, every corner boasts impeccable cleanliness, with polished surfaces gleaming under soft lighting. From the plush furnishings to the tasteful decor, every detail has been thoughtfully curated to create an ambiance of understated elegance. Truly, a haven of beauty and serenity awaits within these walls. Jon was an exceptional host and was always a quick call away when needed. I would certainly visit again and recommend others to do the same if looking for a pleasant getaway/short break from your busy lives.

PERFECT IN EVERY WAY
I took months looking and thinking about where I wanted to stay. I saw maybe 30 that I thought might work. A short time before leaving I sat down and looked at all of them again and this one spoke to me as a top choice. I told myself "I am going to say yes and fill out the forms and if it comes back to me as available I am taking it" It came back a yes, and I could tell it was going to be good from the way the owner wrote back. Upon arriving, it was everything and more I could have wanted. We all loved every minute there. PS We are very seasoned travelers.

Lovely cottage at all
This cottage is better than the photos promise. Clean. well equipped, almost a Wild Life Zoo at the house with the birds, cows, birds, squirrels, pine Martins, sheep……wonderful place to stay next door to lovely and helpful John and Di!

Lovely home in nature
The home exceeded our expectations. It was so well equipped and in a lovely natural setting. The bed rooms were comfortable and perfect for our group. We were able to easily cook in the kitchen and the dish washer made clean up easy. My elderly mom enjoyed being able to sit in the sunny dinning room and enjoy the birds, squirrels and even a pine Martin in the back garden. We went for walks to the loch and watched the sheep and bunny’s in the field. The home is close to so many interesting sites. We went to Loch Ness, Culloden Moore, Cairngorm National park, Inverness. John was a friendly and host and made the stay very pleasant. I highly recommend this home and area for a visit.

Very lovely cottage and lots of things to see around
If you love to be in the nature and to calm down - than this is a lovely place to watch wildlife (deers, squirrel, birds,.. ) and lots of sheeps with their baby lambs. The highlands with lots of possibilities are nearby, but also Inverness and the isles in the north. The owners John and Diana gave us a very warm welcome. Thank you very much!

Jon war ein sehr netter Ferienwohnungsbesitzer. Wenn ich eine Frage hatte, konnte ich immer zu ihm kommen. Er gab mir auch Ausflugstipps. Toll fand ich die Sachen zu essen, die wir vorfanden. Etwas umständlich war das Schloss, das wir öffnen mussten, wenn wir zur Ferienwohnung kommen wollten und wegfahren wollten, aber Pille-Palle.

We loved staying at the beautiful country house in the woods! It was a convenient location and the hosts were outstanding! We enjoyed taking walks in the wooded lane and the home itself had everything you could possibly need. The owners could not have been more helpful!
