Get away break

The property was very clean and well equipped. Most enjoyable stay away. Quiet location but close to many beautiful areas to visit, with historic sights. Our stay was all the more enjoyable due to the epic weather. Highly recommend.

We arrived to a beautiful spotlessly clean cottage and met one of the owners John.

We arrived to a beautiful spotlessly clean cottage and met one of the owners John. He was very nice and talked away as if we had known each other for years and could not help enough. This is a cottage we would recommend to couples who want to relax and enjoy a quiet time very near to a great little village. We cannot praise Herons rest and the owners enough this with the beautiful surrounds and the great weather made our holiday worth while. All thats left to say if you are thinking of booking, dont think just book and you wont regret it but you will if you miss out. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We loved it at Heron's Rest.

We loved it at Heron's Rest. The cottage is perfect for two! The owners were lovely. The village is just up the road and we ate in 3 of the local places, all were fabulous. The Loch Ness Inn, Fiddler's and the Ness deli. We went out every day and saw some amazing sights. Unfortunately we didn't see Nessie! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
