“We suppose there was two buildings for this bnb which is B-1&B-2, but it’s not! It was a one building separated 2 parts, therefore, the house was very small, the toilet was super small. No coffee or any tea bags provided, have to pay for washing machine. It’s not user friendly for guests. ”
“Hako Riero was wonderful. It was clean, stylish and very high tech. It had a 7 eleven in walking distance and very close to the Hakkne-Yumoto train station. I would absolutely stay here again.

“The location is quite difficult to arrive. Be sure to take taxi at yumoto station which cost 800 yen in 10mins max. Food is incredible but plate and accessories are just so so. Room onsen is absolutely stunning but the outdoor shower area need some guts to use in winter.
Overall speaking, you must try this if u want good kaiseki and outdoor onsen.”
“This was the perfect spot for our trip in Odawara! Not only are the staff incredibly kind and accommodating, they provide small touches that make their guests feel welcome, like inviting us to sit for tea upon arrival, the 24/7 complementary coffee/tea and the cozy pajamas. Just a short walk to everything we wanted! Under 10 minutes to many izakaya options for dinner, 24 hour onsen, train station and Odawara Castle! We recommend Ryokan Plum to anyone staying in the area!
Close to train……
“It’s a wonderful hotel with spacious rooms. The traditional dinner was splendid while the breakfast buffet offers a great variety of food with some uncommon delicacies. The environment is also comfy with great views. It’s just that not so convenient in terms of its location. Takes a 10-min slightly uphill walk from the train station. Can be tiring in summer. However, shuttle bus service can be arranged in fact. Can ask for help with the arrangement at the information center on the ground floor……
“We had a wonderful stay at Hakone Yoshino Pax. The staff was friendly and responsive, the onsen facilities were great. We stayed for 3 nights and dinner was amazing. Definitely recommended.”
