We absolutely loved our stay! Paco and the rest of the staff gave us really good service and made the stay amazing. We found the location so great as it’s at a quiet but pretty beach not to far from the center. of the island. The breakfast at the beachfront made it extra special!

Perfect stay on Holbox

Beautiful and very comfortable hotel with great stuff. We even lost an earbud and the staff helped us looking everywhere, including climbing through the plants on the balconies 😂 Would highly recommend this hotel!

The only thing I would have preferred is clearer information that the beach area is not set up with chairs, umbrellas, etc. It appeared to have a nicer beach in the pictures. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Food and drinks were amazing!!

Amazing place to stay in Holbox. This property has beach access, and the beach is just wonderful! Lovely white sand and calm turquoise water. It’s not so close to the main dining area, but it’s peaceful and totally worth it if you want a relaxing getaway

Perfect hotel in a perfect place, calmer that in the center. The beach was cleaned and perfect to spend the day. The service was also great and the food is really good. Rooftop is also really nice. Spirit Holbox is a PARADISE on earth.

Staff and service excellent. Low key, environmentally friendly establishment. Our only complaint is the lack of shade or shaded area on the beach. But after exploring other beaches and areas surrounding, it was always comforting to come back to Spirit. Weekends were a bit noisy with other hotels playing music, but Spirit was quiet, especially on weeknights. Amazing to hear water and birds in early morning.

This was my first time in holbox. Was memorable to say the least. The hotel although a little way from the busy area was very quiet and clean. The cleaning staff did a great job every day and the staff was really friendly. The room was all that it was advertised and presented a really great view of the beach. The rooftop was breathtaking and really great for sunsets. Would definitely visit one day again.

Our Holbox experience.

We spent three nights at Spirit Holbox with our two adult children. The hotel is a really nice option on the island as it’s on the quieter side of things, but also not easily walkable to the main drag, but we were fine calling taxis when needed. It is not fancy, but comfortable and the staff does a nice job. The rooftop bar/restaurant is nice to have on hand, and it’s walkable to a few really good places to eat as well. Our trip to Holbox was memorable and we are glad we had the experience.

Lovely!

Really nice stay - staff was awesome, the bed was so comfortable and our room was spotless - great stay - about a 15 mins walk into town so if you wanted food outside what was available at the hotel that was the only downside. Definitely recommend.

Beds are very hard so not good for a bad back. Gabriel was a wonderful host at the rooftop restaurant and made me go back even though it was sub par food but again awesome service and they should invest in some new beds or pillow tops

The Good - Beautiful Rooftop and Great Breakfast The Bad (So Much) - At check-in we were told our child that was 19 would add $150 USD to our 3 night stay. We didn't receive a different room. Same room Higher unexpected price. Our safe stopped working twice and we had to have it manually opened by staff. Check out was even worse than check in. We were told a taxi would be reserved for us and arrive at 5:30am so we could make our ferry and flight. No taxi and no one in the reception. Had to walk around the property for 20 minutes before I found a worker to call us a taxi and we almost missed our boat home. When we get to the airport we get a message from the reception anticipating an apology but they just needed our exp date for our cc so they could charge us more. Honestly, for the adjusted up price there are better places to stay.
