"We were so lucky to find this little hidden gem in Islamorada. We needed a room for 1 night on our way back to Miami, but didn’t need all the frills. Drop Anchor was the perfect place for us. "

"The room had a beautiful ocean view, steps away from the beach, pool, and other amenities. The water was beautiful and clear, no seaweed!"

"The staff welcomed us and allowed us to check in early as the room was already cleaned and ready for occupancy. The room was clean, including the bathroom and kitchenette area. We wanted to go kayaking and there was no charge to use the kayaks, paddles, and life preservers. They also had paddle boards available. There was plenty of parking. The swimming pool was also clean and available to use. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you!!"

"We had an incredible time at the Islander! We were expecting a regular big hotel on the beach kind of stay, but The Islander offers bungalow-style accommodations with private lanai/patios for every room! It made the place feel so much more chill. The grounds were beautiful with abundant landscaping, palm trees, and tons of seating options to lounge on and off the beach. "

The host, Christie, was SO incredibly kind, helpful, friendly, gracious and her and her husband went so far out of their way to help us enjoy their stay.
