“This is the place for you if you are looking for quiet and clean, and want to walk to restaurants before and after a day of exploring! We checked in after dark, and the process was seamless! Everything you need to know is in a binder, and the host is nearby if you have questions. We had plenty of room to spread out. The area is walkable and the locals are very friendly. Lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby (10 min walk). You are ~30 minutes from Bar Harbor and Acadia. We would stay here……

“Apartment was exactly as pictured and described. Was clean, quiet, and we had everything we needed for a week long stay. It's a little bit of a drive to the national park or even Bar Harbor, however we knew that going in. We actually prefer it that way. Apartment grounds are shared with a landscaping business, but they were mostly quiet and had no issues with setup. Though we didnt spend any time outdoors there, it was also set up very nice. Check in was super easy and Mike was super responsive.……

“Visiting with family while enjoying a vacay away from traffic and the busyness of the touristy areas. The 2 br with full kitchen was perfect fir my cousin and I. The views and salt air were wonderful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only downside for some people might be that the accommodations were on the 2nd floor. It was not a problem for us. “We stayed at Breakwater in October 2023 with two young families. The apartment is well stocked and worked well for two couples with three kids under 4. Luke was super accomodating and provided us with pack n plays and a high chair, and was also very responsive. “This property was perfect for our needs. It was only a short drive to Acadia NP and other local favorites, walkable into the local square/island explorer bus stop, was clean and had a beautiful upper deck! Luke & Jackie were excellent hosts! We had a terrible storm blow through overnight one night and we lost power for a few hours. They had a generator hooked up and our power back on before we even had a chance to reach out. Thank you for a wonderful stay!”

“The cabin was amazing and located close To a light house. Cabin had full amenities including usage of a washer and dryer. We sat out in morning in back area looking at forest. Location was perfect as you were within driving distance from everything but outside the major crowded areas. Hiking trails were great in the area and close to Acadia National Park. Hosts were amazing and gave us great tip on hike nearby that allowed a full 360 view at top as well as suggestions on other things to……
