We were only there for 3 nights, and with so much to do in the area, we just didn't have time to take full advantage of everything that Acadia Yurts has to offer (fire pit, wellness center, etc), but we'll definitely plan another (longer) stay there!”

“My husband & I loved staying at this treehouse location. It was the perfect size, equipped with all we needed for our stay. It was about 30 min from everything we wanted to do while visiting Acadia. If we hadn’t stayed here, and opted for Bar Harbor, we would never have seen this part of the area. Plus, the kayaks were a fun activity. Would stay again!”

“The property owner was wonderful providing info and help as needed. The kitchen was well equipped for those who like to prepare meals. Staying on the "quiet side" of Mt. Desert Island was good for us. We had easy access to Acadia National Park and could drop into the busyness of Bar Harbor when we wanted that experience.”

“We found the Beehive tiny house impeccably clean and thoughtfully designed. A comfortable home base for exploring Acadia, the Carriage Trails, and all the area had to offer. “This wonderful apartment is located on the Quiet Side of Mount Desert Island, which was a big plus for us! As an added bonus, there is a grocery store (and a laundromat) 0.1 mile away. The beds and sofas are comfortable, the kitchen fully stocked with all the bakeware, cookware, crockery, flatware and utensils you will need. The bathroom is tiny, but certainly serviceable. And the owners, Tim and Sian are regularly updating and improving the property. Overall, we had a delightful stay!”

“The location is awesome overlooking the bay. This was a last minute vrbo selection for us and we could not have been happier. Looking out the windows to view the boats and harbor was like a post card of Maine come true. Although it was just the two of us, the house can easily accommodate 6 people. 2 bathrooms are always a bonus. Communication with the property management was excellent.”

“We absolutely loved the yurt. It was so clean and had everything! The french press was a nice surprise and it was the best coffee we ever had! The owners were very quick to respond to texts. While hiking on a mountain, I texted them to leave some quarters in our yurt so i could catch up on some laundry. I also purchased a some of their coffee as a surprise for my family and they hid it in a bag and put it in a special place for me :) Looooved everything about this place! Thanks Karen and Aaron.”

“The cabin was amazing and located close To a light house. Cabin had full amenities including usage of a washer and dryer. We sat out in morning in back area looking at forest. Location was perfect as you were within driving distance from everything but outside the major crowded areas. Hiking trails were great in the area and close to Acadia National Park. Hosts were amazing and gave us great tip on hike nearby that allowed a full 360 view at top as well as suggestions on other things to……
