"C-Mauritius is a great value for money 4-star hotel. Staff are going the extra mile to make you feel warmly welcome. The food variety and quality/taste are very nice as compared to some other 4 or even 5 star hotels on the island. Ms. Anastasia of the reception will make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The location is wonderful, provided that locals don't make their dogs become an issue on the beach. "

"The grounds are beautiful. The staff was excellent. We had a junior suite that had a plunge pool. It was perfect. The breakfast and dinner are buffet style if you have the half-board package. "the hotel is quiet place and very clean, bedroom as done regularly and clean.breakfast is same thing everyday but tends to get busy during weekends. If you renting a car you might not get parking inside during week end unless its included in your hotel reservation fees. bathroom in comfort room was excellent just the screen on the bathroom doors need a retouch and also there need more modern Usb plug ins. small beach but blue bay beach is few feet away .Is just very nice location. "This hotel is not comparable to other options in Mauritius for the price - it is of much lower quality than the price and photos suggest. The level of attention to detail is poor. Rooms are not cleaned properly with hard to reach places gathering cobwebs, the bathrooms are old and tired, and there is a general lack of attention to detail throughout such as not having mosquito screens and not having the AC on for when you check in. The staff are nice but their initial reaction is always to say no to your request, before then attempting to accommodate you, a small point perhaps but when added together with the other factors you really start to notice it. You can find much better value for money elsewhere. Key point to note is that every night they have an extremely loud show/performance until late where you can hear the music no matter where you are in the hotel - this vibe will suit some people but others looking for a quiet time should avoid. All in all it reminded me of a premium hostel rather than a hotel, not what we were expecting for the price."
