「The room is clean and tidy. The breakfast is good with different options. The hotel is a little bit far from the ferry pier, it takes about 25 mins to walk there. If you have luggage, you'd better call a taxi, the taxi fare is reasonable anyway. 」

「The location was beautiful on the sea front and near the electric train. We rented a car for one day and we were easily able to find parking in front of the building. We didn’t eat breakfast at King’s House as we were busy in the mornings. We got fresh towels each day and a fresh supply of cookies and tea. The staff were eager to help with whatever you needed.」

「Our host at the Athol House offered impeccable hospitality. We were warmly welcomed in despite being several hours early. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet and we slept well in the lush bed. For one who really appreciates breakfast, I was delighted. The chef provided a hearty breakfast that held us through the day and adapted on the fly to special requests. Our host was knowledgeable about Douglas and the Isle of Man, she was unobtrusive while making sure we had everything we...
