“This is a great little stuidio apartment for two people to stay. It has all the amenities you need and is cozy and warm. It is within walking distance of everything in Stonington. Host is great as well.”

“Liked the room. Liked the location. Parking was in a lot next to the building. I would suggest reading instructions and looking on Google maps at the satellite image of building and the bingo place. Made it very simple to see before we made the drive.”

“This property is a nice, peaceful walk to downtown. The apartment had everything we needed and was in great condition. It was not a problem for us, but be aware you need to be able to walk up spiral stairs to get to the bathroom and bedrooms.”

“Our stay was wonderful! Amy went above and beyond to help us feel welcome and give us the lay of the land. We mostly used the home as our home base but would love to come back and spend time relaxing on the lake. The house was clean, comfortable, and well kept. Can’t beat this setting if you want peace and quiet in the Maine woods. You won’t regret spending time in this gem!”

“A great place to stay. Clean, convenient, a beautiful view, and a responsive host that has thought of everything. I love that they had French press coffee (as well as keurig if that’s more your style) this allowed me to enjoy mornings overlooking the harbor without leaving to find my morning pick me up. I forgot soap/shampoo, no problem there’s a dispenser in the shower. I will definitely being staying here again when coming to see family. The only thing I would mention as something to think of……

“Visiting with family while enjoying a vacay away from traffic and the busyness of the touristy areas. The 2 br with full kitchen was perfect fir my cousin and I. The views and salt air were wonderful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only downside for some people might be that the accommodations were on the 2nd floor. It was not a problem for us. The host was very helpful and the apt was well appointed. The beds were comfortable and the unit was very clean. We loved our stay and hope to come……

“I needed a quiet respite from a busy life and this space provided that! Not only was it clean, artfully designed/decorated, but it had a beautiful view of a pond and stream with the relaxing & meditative sound of the water heard at all times! Close to hiking trails & other beautiful scenery as well! Will recommend to others!”

“Pros: Quiet. This is it if you are looking for quiet. The cottage: The glassed-in porch is the star. The windows open too. The kitchen is updated and a pleasure to cook in. The living room is very cozy at night. There was a musky smell when we 1st arrived, but went away quickly once all windows were open and never came back, but then again the windows were open the whole vacation. Cons: The view will be obstructed soon if the owner doesn't cut down some small trees, it seems without affecting……

“This property is centrally located in Rockland and within walking distance to the harbor, dining, coffee, shopping, and more. We had a great harbor view from our room. And while Trade Winds is old and needs work (smells old and we had to air out our room every time we came back to it.), it's in the ideal location and we would definitely stay there again; just wish the price was a little less expensive. Customer service and communication was top notch and exceeded all expectations. ”
