We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is very convenient by Hava Bus from the airport. The funicular & tram are very close to all the main sights. It was quiet, rooms maintained to a good standard & tea & coffee facilities available. Breakfast is excellent value for money with a huge of array of food & great coffee! The spa was clean and staff welcoming, just what is needed after walking 20,000 steps during the day. Staff are approachable & can speak several languages well. I'd like to say that Seda, a trainee, was very professional at reception & I was very happy to see there were a number of trainees at the hotel and that giving young people an opportunity to enhance their career. A lovely stay that made our time in İstanbul even more memorable.

They upgraded us to a 5 star hotel for one night as there was a fire alarm issue at the hotel. They also gave us free dinner and free breakfast every morning. Staff on the front desk were very helpful getting us cheaper cab ride to helping us navigate Istanbul. Rooms were decent size, very clean.

Good Location, Nice Staff

One night for business and seeing friends. Great location. Good choice. Lobby is 3*, rooms are 3.5*. Not luxurious but clean enough and easy to get in and out. Great if you like crowds and Istikal St. Next time Nisintasi

Excellent stay

Excellent stay at the occidental from check in till check out ,thanks to Esma who warmly welcomed us .Room was spacious and clean ,breakfast was good a special thanks to Talha.Location is the best just a short walk to Taksim square and istiklal street .Will definitely stay here again .
