"The Onsen (hot spring facilities) was fantastic, especially after a long journey. Breakfast and dinner buffet were excellent. Mostly Japanese food but there are a few choices for those who don't like Japanese food. For me, the meals were great. Sushi, Sashimi, lots of different choices. A true test of Japan. Never had the same thing twice as there were too many choices. Not to mention they had beer, sake and some other alcohols available as part of the buffet. Didn't see anyone abusing the access which is good. The only thing to mention is if you are traveling from Tokyo and are returning there, it would be good to only take a smaller portion of your belongings (send your larger cases to your next hotel) as the rooms are not equipped with closets or drawers so you will be living out of your suitcase. Really wasn't a problem with our two large suitcases. Nice walking path in the back of the facility. Strongly recommend taking a taxi or uber from the train station with your suitcases. We road the bus there which was standing room only along a a very twisty mountain road, OVERALL - WONDERFULL"

"Amazing stay, wish we'd stayed more than one night. Easy to get to with the train and shuttle bus, but I'd recommend sending your luggage ahead of time as the train and shuttle have limited space and get busy. Great buffet food, but limited vegetarian options for my wife."

"The hotel was so amazing. The view is magnificent. The location is really good. The only thing that i could say that is a bit disappointing is there are stains in the sofa in the living room. Other than that everything is perfect."

"Our stay was absolutely wonderful. A very luxurious room. The room with the onsen was so spacious and had two comfy beds, a tatami room with a tv and the onsen itself was amazing. Every amenity you need was already there plus more surprises. Everything was so neat and clean as well. Just a wonderful and relaxing experience all around. Thank you!"

"The stay was very good. We had a private bath in our room and it was very nice. The private onsen left a bit to be desired. We were unable to utilize the public onsen due to tattoos. The location near the ropeway and ship were amazing. The buffet was above average. Would stay again."
