“We very much enjoyed our stay at Hodges Bay Resort. We stayed for 6 nights in June 2026. As this is Antigua's off season, the resort was very quiet, with very few guests. We stayed in an ocean front deluxe room. The room perfect. It was very clean and spacious. The balcony overlooking the ocean was large. We elected for daily housekeeping and our room was always refreshed and restocked when we returned to the room each day. The staff were all very friendly. Every staff member who walked by……

“Clean room and courteous staff”

“The Buccaneer Beach Club was perfect stay. The staff friendly especially Candace at Front Desk. The grounds well kept. My room was immaculate. I would definitely stay there again. If there is a downside, which there is not. The Buccaneer does not host an eatery, but why would it. You have a kitchen to cook your own food. Microwave, hot stove, etc. Next door is the Salt Plage which has good food. Great staff too!”

“Overall, my stay was quite good. The environment and location were great, and the host was very friendly. The only areas for improvement were: the seasonings were a bit limited – salt and pepper were almost gone; laundry detergent needed to be brought from home; and the shower water pressure was a little low. Aside from these, everything else was perfect, and I would gladly recommend this place.”

“Excellent check in process, nice property, very clean, great AC in the bedroom. Very quiet and secluded, really reminded me of a cottage. Not much around that you can walk to but overall it was a really nice spot with excellent hosts.”

“The place is built sustainability so there is a solar farm for electricity and rainwater downpipes that lead to underground cisterns on each building. These cisterns supply water to the building. The building is near to the coast and you can see the sea and yachts based on the room that you assigned. It is a lovely place, very serene. “Cottage was clean, A.C worked great. Kitchen and bathroom was clean just had an ant problem. I traveled alone, the unit was very spacious. The pool was decent. Able to walk to the beach just be mindful coming back is uphill. Not many choices of restaurants but they will call a taxi for you. Staff was super friendly, willing to help with and definitely made me feel comfortable and safe. I would stay here again”
