“It was a fun experience to stay in such a unique spot. My teen and I enjoyed the kayaks at sunset. And waking up to that view was lovely. Our hosts had a lot of nice touches with the coffee station, snacks and nice bath products. (And while the location is a little unusual, road traffic wasn’t really too bad with the air conditioning on.) it was really cool to stay right on the water in a former fishing cabin, while still being easily able to explore Swansboro, Cedar Point and Emerald Isle. ”

“The place was just beautiful. Nice size rooms, interior decor was really nice & clean. The hot tub was really nice & clean & great great to lounge in .My family & I would love to stay here again in the future. My dog also loved running around in the large fenced in yard. We love that house was only 15 mins from the beach. Our main reason for staying at this place was it was close enough to spend time with my grandson who is stationed near by in the Airforce. “We were in New Bern for a wedding with some things happening downtown and the wedding at Amelia Grove. This was the perfect place to base out of. Close to downtown and a short drive from the venue. There were just enough beds and baths for everyone and the bonus was that we were able to bring our dogs so we didn't need to board them while we were gone. Never did get a chance to check out the hot tub or spend much time in the game room or around a fire but that was fine. Would certainly……
