Check in was simple, Jason was very helpful in that process and communication from host Meg was prompt and on point to any questions that we had. Location is in heart of Oracabessa so be prepared for the sights and sounds of a bustling Jamaica. "

"Our stay was great. I loved the staff. If it wasn’t for the staff I wouldn’t return. We made some long lasting friendships. They are the sweetest & will go above & beyond to help.Pros: the staff - fabulous. The pool & patio amazing. We spent most of our time there. If you are coming to Jamaica to relax this is the place for you. You will be treated like royalty. We ate fresh fish & lobster right from a fisherman from beach next door. It was delicious. My son loved the jerk chicken. It was so nice to be taken care of from the staff. Cons: it was about a 30 minute drive to go anywhere. The mileage looks close to town but the traffic is crazy. If you plan on being active & go to lots of places (shopping, beaches, Dunn, Falls, mystic etc) it takes time & money to pay a driver. They recommend Bunny for a driver & he is great. The host was kind but had many requests. We were told how much to tip the staff. I always thought tipping depends on service. Staff kept turning off the air and then after much conversation I think the host watches numbers daily about the air. If you like to use air this is not the place for you. The ocean breeze is amazing but my husband likes air during the hot days. We felt guilty using air. The hot water is sparse. This was ok for me because I take quick showers. Needs updating especially microwaveIf you are a vegetarian no fish not many options. Canned Ackee, greens & veggies is it. Overall excellent for relaxing and staff 10 plus stars"

"We rented a 14-bedroom all-inclusive property for our family vacation beginning January 22, which included a chef and house maintenance staff. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing.Upon arrival, the house had a strong mildew smell. The upstairs bathroom toilet would not flush, and the WiFi was not working. We immediately contacted the owner to express our concerns. Instead of resolving the issues, we were offered a different property with only 11- bedrooms.Because we were uncomfortable staying in the original home, we moved to the 9-bedroom house, which caused major inconvenience. We had to sleep 2–3 people per bed, and some family members had to sleep on couches. This was not what we paid for and significantly impacted our comfort and vacation experience.Although the rental was advertised as all-inclusive with a chef and staff, after meals were prepared, no one stayed to clean. We ended up cleaning ourselves. Additionally, we repeatedly had to request towels and fresh sheets throughout our stay. Clean towels should have been provided daily without having to ask. To make matters worse, my son found a creature in his bedroom.While the owner apologized, no meaningful solutions were provided. Overall, this was a very uncomfortable and disappointing experience, and I would not book with this property again."

"Villa Hestia is well appointed and the staff is very good. Molly the manager is present at all times and available. The Villa was spacious and clean, updated and we had a nice cool breeze the entire time (we used the A/C at night.) The “beach” there is a rock beach with a very active coral reef, so we didn’t go in as to not disturb the animals. There are kayaks and life vests for use. Our only hiccup was the check-in with the previous guests not wanting to leave and therefore delaying our entry into the villa due to cleaning. Other than that this is a 5 star property with 5 star staff."

"The property exceeded our expectations. Paradise here on earth. The fruit trees on the property that we ate daily were delicious! Better than any fruit we could purchase from any store. We celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary with family at sunset on July 5th. The pictures taken on the property are priceless. The entire agree that this is the best property in Jamaica to experience paradise. We especially appreciate the special care by the housekeepers Earlene and Kevin. They made our vacation a memorable experience.We would definitely return again when we visit Jamaica. We highly recommend this property."

"This property and staff exceeded every expectation for my 40th birthday celebration. Wayne, David, Ken, Horace, Pollyanna, Ziggy and the rest of the Golden Clouds team were so welcoming, hospitable and attentive. Every meal was delicious, and we appreciate their attention to detail regarding certain dietary restrictions within our group. The guest rooms were lovely, and the pool and view were second-to-none. We will most definitely be back. "
