Great place

Beautiful home with great scenery. Came for a retreat and there was plenty of space for my group. So many beds and air mattresses. The owner communicated very well and quickly. There was a basketball court and jacuzzi which was perfect. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again in the future!

What a beautiful house! Loved, loved the pet friendly home…my 3 fur babies had a ball outside. It was relaxing to stay away from the hustle and bustle. You were able to see the stars and hear the nature around you, i.e., owls, birds, coyotes. We had a gorgeous view of San Diego between the mountains and didn’t have to hear the traffic or people. This home had its little imperfections but that’s what made it honestly so perfect! A great place to read and truly relax and feel the sun on your face. Enjoyed the pool and the jacuzzi…oh picked some yummy lemons, too.Enjoyed coffee and meals looking at all the breathtaking views. It was only about 15-20 mins to the grocery store and restaurants…very fun but winding road up and down. Must see and stay to experience the California Mission Style Home!Thank you very much, Beto! You were the BEST HOST!!

Overall good stay

Overall it was a good stay, I really liked the views. Pool was a big hit with the family. I had a total of 30 people for a family reunion and did rent the two additional RV's from them and they were brand new and clean. The hosts were very responsive to some special accommodations and a concern we had. I would stay again.

Lovely, Peaceful Location in the Hills

Most importantly, just a stunning view day and night across the hills. It feels incredibly peaceful here. The flexible check-in and check-out hours are a game changer. The house is spacious, can sleep many, and owners are very communicative. The only downside is that the property has some components that are prime for upgrades, but it's reflected in the pricing.

Diamond in the ruff

Place is so beautiful outside and the sunsets are to die for. I had a family reunion here of 25 and came in from out of the area and used this as the home base for a few day trips outside of the area. Reasonable drive time to places. A few issues during the stay but host was responsive. Overall we were happy and would stay again.

Staff communication was great and location is beautiful however giving 3 stars because of cleanliness and also our experience with the smell of a propane leak in the laundry room the day before we left. There seemed to be a lot of caution that was noted about the tiki light but when we arrived there was a lot of them that had been damaged. We found clumps of hair in our bathroom shower and the kitchen was not stocked with household/ cleaning supplies. While they were accommodating to send us things as soon as it was noted, we wish this place was better maintained. Additionally, there were flies that came out of the pipes and also little critters (mice) that got into our food.

We had complete privacy during our stay. The house is on a hill of sorts and has exquisite views of the El Cajon valley and sunsets. We woke up the second morning above the clouds (the clouds were literally floating just below the hill) and it was so beautiful. We ended up so comfortable at the house we didn't get out and so as much as we'd planned in San Diego but its a convenient drive into all the major San Diego attractions. Overall the house was as advertised and comfortably slept 20.

I got married here having the ceremony and the reception at the house, I am very gracious to the hosts for allowing this. We had a lot of privacy and there was enough space for all the cars. They provided extra air mattresses and also extra chairs for our group. The property was well kept and there were a couple issues that occurred during our stay that the management company promptly resolved.

Generational stay, Clean

We picked this house because of all the privacy and space for my daughter's wedding. We had 30 overnight in the house and a large group over for the reception. House was clean, there were three people there to greet me when I arrived. Responsive management, a couple minor concerns I brought up were promptly handled. There was plenty of parking for everyone and lots of seating. Overall we were happy with the stay and enjoyed most of all the sunsets on the property.

Lovely reunion spot

It was so peaceful and had gorgeous views. We had a group of 4 families that included teenagers so they used the pool day and night. It was really like staying at a resort with all there was to offer. We also had some younger teens. It was very close to grocery stores and only 30 minutes from the beach and Belmont park. We also enjoyed the short ride to the casino for a night out. We had such a wonderful stay. I highly recommend this home. It does need some works in some areas but that was disclosed in the listing.

Family Reunion

Stayed on location for 3 nights. The place says it sleeps 50 but there are only 4 bedrooms. That sleep around 20 comfortably. One room is up in a loft area and has no doors or walls. Just curtains for privacy With a large group id stay again but knowing the sleeping arrangements ahead of time. They do provide a number of air mattresses. Id bring some extra blankets and beddingWe did have an issue with the heated pool which we were refunded for a portion of that charge. The location is secluded and private. The driveway is kind of hidden and very steep to get up but has a nice big area for parkingI will give them 5 stars for their communication. They were great that way.You are about 45 minutes from the beach or Sea World. Overall I'd rate around 4 stars and i would stay there again with a large group walls or doors.

This is a beautiful home my family and I stayed here for 4 days we enjoyed our stay. There is plenty of towels blankets, pillows, air mattress. The kitchen is well equipped it has enough pots and pans dishes and cups silverware. It has breathtaking views it's nice and quiet and peaceful. The pool and jacuzzi area has a beautiful view. Responsible a little mini golf course at our family enjoyed. Communication went well the response was fast I would definitely stay here again with my family it's a beautiful home.
