「We haven’t been to the Goldensands for a couple of years. It was always lovely, but now it has had a bit of a make over, it is even more lovely. Friendly staff, can’t beat the location. We will be back!!! 」

「The reception area is modern and spacious. The bedrooms are also spacious and kept immaculately clean. The dining area and bar are very modern and the dinners we had were delicious and well priced. Breakfast was substantial and the food was excellent. All of the staff we met were professional, friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend The Savoy without hesitation.」

「Room was very nice and spacious. Breakfast was whatever you wanted eg Full English; kippers; scrambled egg; cereals; fruit; ham/cheese as much as you wanted.We were only B&B and did find it hard to book dinner because it was so busy! Spa was excellent, pool; sauna and jacuzzi. Great shame this hotel is closing for good on the 31st October to be knocked down and rebuilt for apartments!!」

「We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the quality of the service, cleanliness, bar, restaurant, food etc etc. The employees were great too. However, the hotel is not ideal for someone that has impaired mobility or uses a wheelchair, because of steps within the common parts of the building and does not have a lift to access the upper floors' bedrooms. Whilst we were there, some decoration works were commenced indicating a recognition for ongoing maintenance is constant. The hotel would benefit from...
