“The room was very comfortable, with newly renovated bathroom and a nice French window. The owner/manager Eli is wonderful, very helpful and made me feel right at home. He invited me to freely use the kitchen and laundry facilities and provided tips as I walked around the old city. The only difficulty I had was locating the property when I first arrived nice the building has no posted property name along the main Street Jaffa. But its located close to the Jaffa and Damascus gates and the garden……

“So far the worst hotel in Israel. Service is bad, room is dirty, receptionist is rude, location is mediocre. I was asked to pay extra for towels and bathroom mats even!! ”

“Jerusalem Gate Hotel is conveniently located in Jerusalem for business and job. Not a fancy hotel with a lot of facilities, but nice staff, good bed, ok network and a gym. Whether you are on government business, need to go to Tel Aviv or want a stroll to the Old City, this location is the best. ”

“The Italian restaurant next door was recommended by hotel staff with 10% discount,great food! Neighborhood is nice although everything is closed due to Shabbat.”
