“This is definitely not a 4 stars hotel. It must be a 2 stars boutique homestay instead. Room is too small for 2 king bed. Bathroom is too small with old shower stall. Old furniture and squeaking wood floor. Felt unwelcome by the management. Definitely not happy stay and not recommend to others. ”

“Aircondition wasn’t functioning, loadshedding was also a problem and the hotel doesn’t provide alternative for the guests during these times. The guest is left on his own to remain in the dark rather than turning on a generator to keep their guest comfortable. Basically, friendly are most of the staffs, from the cleaning staff to the bar‘s. The reception staff need improvement on their customer service. However, a tall guy in the reception was very friendly and attended to my needs and as him do……

“Location is excellent with multiple restaurants and the mall in walkable distance. The hotel is across from the Marriott. Hotel restaurant menu is limited, not so much of fruits or yogurts option. ”

“A quick one night stay in Joburg on business found me at the quirky SQL on 44. The hotel is relatively new and is housed in an old converted factory and as such its not your regular hotel. I arrived late and left early the next day so didnt have a lot of time to explore the hotel amenities. Breakfast was served at a nearby cafe (which was excellent). My room was large, with everything you need for a short stay, with separate large room with shower etc. I would definitely stay again, but may……
