“Would not hesitate to book again. Would recommend a step to get in and out of bed and a handicap railing for shower.”

“This was our second time staying here. First time we were in the lower apartments. This time we rented the second and third floor. Four adults. The property is just wonderful, right on the Roaring River. One night there was a lot of rain, and the river came up a lot and was really roaring! The facility is quite nice, but had a few issues: The place needs a good deep cleaning. Quite a bit of the plates and cups cracked and chipped. Several lamps had no light bulbs, and there were a number of……

“The hosts were so kind and accommodating when we needed to come to the area to manage my mother's estate. The adorable bungalow was comfortable and well stocked and we were so grateful to them for going the extra mile to get the fold out bed ready for our daughter when they new we were going to have a very late night check in. We extend our thanks for their compassion and flexibility to accommodate us so last minute. We will gladly return to their home when duty calls again.”

“Perfect! Absolutely beautiful property, spotlessly clean, wonderful and gracious hosts, adorable farm animals, beautiful landscaping!! Nearby Mt Airy is a great place to spend the day…Andy Griffith Museum, Gertrude Smith House, so many unique shops, great local eating establishments. Make sure to check out Kim’s unique metal art sold at Mayberry Antiques!!!! Go hiking at Hanging Rock State Park and check out the five waterfalls. Can’t wait to return!
