Overall met expectations. Cowboy pool was a nice reprieve from heat, good privacy in backyard, AC was welcome. Fine for exploring National Park and surrounding area with a homebase to cook (very basic kitchen amenities) and refrigerate. Not as polished as pictures show, but living space has some neat vintage decor.

Perfect quick getaway

This was the perfect getaway location for my friends and me. We had a perfect view of the sunset and sunrise and it was overall a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We even had an owl visit us during our stay which was really neat to see!

Great spot

This is a wonderful home! The location is perfect as it is very close to town center. The backyard is spacious and the bedrooms and common areas are cozy. Perfect place if you’re looking to relax between trips to the park/town. The check-in and check-out processes were very easy as they provide all info needed virtually and in a timely manner. Would definitely stay here again!

Lots of bugs

From the moment we entered the house to the day we left we killed at least 5 bugs. When we first got to the house there were bugs all over the kitchen sink and window and when I went to wash my hands in the master bathroom a huge spider fell into the sick and almost landed in my hands. Disgusting. Be aware of lots of hidden bugs behind curtains or in the puzzle box. Other than the bugs issue the backyard is completely open to the neighborhood. There’s no gate or warning if anyone walks into the backyard. The house itself has plenty of pantry items though all very scratched up but it’s missing a lot of little nice to have things like tissues, hand lotion, and fly swatters.

Cute JT house

Overall we enjoyed our stay! Sleep wasn’t the best in the lower bed, maybe it was the pillows and I could have used a dimmer in the kids room for putting the baby down and / or a nightlight … but other than that we enjoyed our time. It was windy so we weren’t able to really enjoy the hot tub, it’s far from the back door entrance but it really has the best view on a calm day. Great neighborhood, centralized with hiking just out the door! Will be back.

Great family-friendly spot in Joshua Tree; Super close to the park

We loved staying here on our recent visit to Joshua Tree. The house had all we needed. If you're out and about all day at the park or other spots this is the perfect place to have as home base. The furniture is getting a little worn and not the most comfortable though this is secondary given the house's close proximity to the park and other amenities.

Convenient stay next to Joshua Tree

This house is located an east drive to grocery stores and the park. The hot tub never got quite hot enough and the hot water in the house ran out quick with 6 of us showering and taking baths. My kids were disappointed that the tee pee in the picture was not there but they loved the backyard and it made for a great spot for our Easter egg hunt.
