Beautiful property in the "highlands" with stunning views and privacy. Pool and pickle ball court are great. Both casitas were thoughtfully appointed with things you need for a stay. Check-in process and communication were very smooth.

Beautiful

What can I say about this house!! I've been telling everybody about it since we got back to Chicago. Absolutely magnificent.The interior design and construction quality is really top notch. Kids loved the hot tub and (chilly) pool. We took photos in every room. Super thoughtful design throughout.The road getting there is definitely rough but well worth it.

The property was amazing, , beautiful location, convenient location to Joshua Tree National Park. The grounds were well kept. Overall perfect for a family get together.

We were very disappointed. The listing clearly stated “heated pool” in two prominent locations, which I confirmed with screenshots and sent to the property manager. Only after arriving did we find, buried deep in the listing, that heating the pool costs an additional fee — roughly a twenty percent over the nightly rate — and requires a two-day minimum. Since we were only staying two nights, the pool couldn’t be used. It was like ice water. For a property in this price range, I never imagined the pool wouldn’t already be heated. We brought teenagers, and the pool was the main reason we booked — so this was a major letdown.The main photo also gives the impression of a private desert oasis, but the backyard actually borders other properties, including mobile homes and other structures directly behind the fence/the pool area. It’s far less private than the pictures imply. The house layout was great, but the misleading listing and lack of responsiveness from the manager made the experience feel deceptive. I would not rent from this host again.
