“The Max is our go to place in Daytona. We love staying there. The rooms are very spacious, right on the beach. Plenty of seating outside.. my only complaint/suggestion would be to bring your own trash bags. They will only give you two at a time and they are very, very thin and rip very easily. You are better off just buying your own. ”

“Not everyone will live this place. It’s not the biggest and best but it is cozy and convenient. If you are a simple laid back person who can appreciate a nice comfy bed, book it. I loved the beds, the staff, free parking, little diner-like restaurant with Asian heavy menu, rooftop bar & close enuf to the Bandshell which was our daily destination for NCA NDA. “The staff was really nice. The beach view was great. The room had the air conditioning not working as powerful, but they immediately replaced it and it was ice cold. The only thing that I will say is the parking is kind of minimal and inconvenient. all around it was a good stay though.. I would book it again.”

“This was quite possibly the worst place we have ever stayed. We checked in at 5:30 pm into the first room and were afraid that they had accidentally given us the keys to someone else’s room because the beds were still unmade, there was trash everywhere and dirty towels still littered the bathroom floors. Turns out the room still hadn’t been cleaned from the previous guests. We were kind and gave them grace as we came on the tail end of Spring Break and thought they must have been busy. We……

“When we arrived the room and kitchen were very clean. But soon realized the hotel was not what we expected. There weee signs that due to being Eco friendly the room would be cleaned every 3 days. We were there for 5 and the room was never cleaned. If it was not for us emptying and taking out our own garbage, making our own beds and cleaning the sinks ourselves, it would have not gotten done at all. “Bathroom in lobby no soap, no paper towels in a period of three hours, had to ask for a soap bar at the front desk. Room wasn't clean . Beds were clean but floor sandy and dirty I had to mop myself with a towel. Staff very friendly and helpful, I had to go at 5:30 am to front desk to get the maintenance property due no water in toilet .......a piece was broken. Breakfast area clean , food was good. Room had a Oceanview balcony we enjoyed as well the beach.”
