“Clean room and friendly staff. Place was good!”

“Avid was very nice and clean. It was simply a bit too far from the center of Kalamazoo. There was also no microwave in the rooms. However, there was one available to all in the breakfast room. The staff was nice and professional.”

“I booked a hotel with a hot tub, that is a priority to me. I checked into the hotel after driving nine hours on the road. When I went to use the hot tub, I realized it was not working out of commission! When I checked in the person at the front desk did not tell me this! Had he disclosed this in advance I would’ve booked another hotel! Keeping this information from me was unfair! The pool was beyond cold that is why nobody was in it at a time when it is usually very full. I’ve been to this……

“We had an okay stay. Ran out of toilet paper, called to request and staff never delivered. TV went out an hour before checking out felt planned like they were pushing us out the door.”

“room beds dirty , room smelled nasty when walked in, fridge and stove was dirty. and my 1 year olds feet were black from walking inside of the room.”

“If you need the ability to do minimal cooking, this is a great option. With a fully equipped kitchen with a full apartment size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and stove top, it can allow in house meal preparation. It was very clean and roomy affording an opportunity to have a few guests in the room pretty comfortably. The staff were all accommodating and professional. Breakfast was just OK. Could improve.”

“I needed to stay in the Kalamazoo/Portage area for 3 nights. I booked just my first night at this hotel to make sure I liked it. First night was great, I loved it! Clean with lots of amenities and a comfy bed. I then decided to book my next two nights. I ended up in room 306, which was a bummer, because the elevator was broke (not their fault, I understood this). But, when I entered the room late that night the smell of wet dog hit me and the carpet was very damp. I decided not to go back……
