“Rooms very clean and quiet. Property well maintained with unique path to rooms. Complimentary breakfast was absolutely delicious! No TV’s in any rooms-take a good book. Beach easy 5 minute walk. Bar & dining area staff were excellent. Dining is semi outside and no AC (typical of most dining in Costa Rica). We were there end of April, thru first week of May and missed the rains. Entrance up to hotel parking lot might be tricky in rainy season? We enjoyed our stay at the Nya and would recommend. ”

“Reservé el Bungalow y cuando llegué me dijeron que no estaba disponible, me dieron otra habitación con un segundo piso donde los huéspedes hacían demasiado ruido, yo reservé el bungalow y pagué el doble del resto de habitaciónes para tener esa privacidad y simplemente me dijeron que era esa la unica opción, de las dos noches reservadas, estuve solo una, preferí perder la segunda noche a pasar otra noche sin poder dormir.”

“Loved staying at Zula Inn. Family of 4 with small kids 9&5 yrs old. We stayed for 4 nights and ot was just wonderful. Super comfy and spotlessly clean. Rooms provide all utensils you need to stock up on groceries and do your thing. We decided to eat out every meal and there are mulyiple options near by. My favorite part...After a sun baked day at the beach with an amazing sunset (5-8 min walk) walking into a cooled A/C clean room with all cleaned and beds made 😎. Of course dont forget the……

“Castillo Tambor was a shot in the dark for my wife and I. We had never been to Costa Rica before and weren't sure what to expect or not expect. We arrived late and were graciously welcomed by hotel staff. She was very helpful and welcoming, ensuring that we were happy with our room prior to leaving. This Hotel is True Castle as the name indicates. Our room was amazing and had an unbeatable view of the ocean. Surrounded by amazing animal and bird noises every morning the tastiest coffee……

“The property is conveniently located on the Main Street. However, the customer service has room for improvement. For instance, we requested tea and coffee for the breakfast but we were told that only one option was allowed. Also, the breakfast is left outside the room uncovered which leaves subject to animals and insects. Finally we asked for a 110V outlet to plug our electric car, at first the front desk assistant allowed to let us use an outlet inside the reception office later we had to move……

“My wife and I stayed at Makanas for 10 nights on May 2024. We definitely enjoyed our stay. The studio is nice ans has everything for the stay. The staff (Vane and Leysi are the best) was awesome and prepared the best waffles and gallo pinto ever for breakfast! I would HIGHLY recomend that if you did not rent a 4 wheeler or a car, find somewhere else to stay because Makanas is very far as a walking distance from either bars/restaurants/supermarkets, and taxis are extremely expensive ”

“Fantastisk beliggenhed. (Strand 50m væk) Rigtig fine toilet og bruse forhold. Køkkenet x2 indeholdt ikke så meget, manglede lidt af hvert. Ikke rene køleskabe. Gratis leje af håndklæde mod depositum. Yoga hver dag mod betaling, og ellers kan man bruge området til træning (KÆMPE PLUS) Min seng havde desværre bedbugs og der var en del kakerlakker på sovesalen (men det er der måske bare i området) ”
