“Location is great - next to Santa Plaza - next to Walmart - next to Star bucks. Excellent breakfast - so many items in the breakfast - fresh fruits, continental and traditional breakfast items. They have Peacocks in the facilities. The Peacocks are very friendly and will roam around the tourists. Swimming pool, tennis court, volleyball court, nice hut style sitting tables. Just great.”

“Overall it was very nice. The only minor thing was water. Most of the hotels we went to in Costa Rica, they offer free complimentary water per day specifically if you like to have coffee in the morning. They charged $9 for a bottle of water which was not fair specially since the hotel was no close to store where you can buy water. All they offered was walk to water fountain which was a long walk from our room in the middle of the night. We also paid for premium ocean view which was not really……

“The JW Marriott was the perfect weekend getaway. The staff were friendly, and very attentive to your needs. I opted out of the All inclusive package, but guests confirmed that several on site restaurants were up to standard and near worth it. The sandbar was convenient, and offered the opportunity to watch the World Cup. The property overall was spacious, and grounds were well kept. I’d rate the stay 8/10 since we found a live scorpion just before hopping in bed for our last night. The hotel……

“The workers were great, friendly and helpful. The room was incredibly small, we had the room with two twin beds. The space between the beds was about a foot. Two people could not stand in that space. Incredibly difficult for two people to maneuver around in.”

“The ocean views were amazing! The breakfast was consistently delicious. The staff was always helpful and very friendly. We had a small issue with our room (no fault of the hotel) and the manager quickly offered us an upgrade to a beautiful suite. There is access via a walking path to two separate beaches, and many dining options nearby (Guiones is a short 15 minute walk down the beach for more options). Overall a nice quiet place to relax and enjoy the ocean, the sun, and the spectacular……
