Room was better than expected, staff was good particularly Ana Live who was excellent. Unfortunate state of resort though as it looked at one point it was pretty good. Hopefully they will find the resources to fix it up.

If you are looking for a luxurious all-inclusive, this is not the resort to go to. This is a very relaxed resort. I went with family and we had no expectations before coming after reading the reviews. We had a great time, the price is amazing, the food was great. Yes, the lounge chairs and towels at the pool could use upgrading, but they are still usable. We saw a lot of wildlife around the resort, the beach was very clean, the staff was very friendly. My only concern is to make sure you pull hard on the door, some do not stick and the door will open. Overall, I think this is an awesome place, in a great location, and will be back!

This was our seventh stay at Condovac. It suits our needs perfectly. Although it is an older resort, the location could not be more beautiful. The views from the open-air buffet and pool area are spectacular and the proximity to the beach works perfectly for our twice daily walks and snorkeling. We do not need the extensive buffets of other local resorts (if you do, this resort might not be a good fit). The rooms are older, but very clean and we look forward to next year's stay.

We had a room in the four hundred series and it provided us with a spectacular view of Hermosa Bay. I am sure many of the units have a great view. It's an older resort but clean. The staff are kind. The food doesn't have a huge variety but they switch up items every day and it's wholesome and well prepared. There were about four pools and the beach was about a four minute walk. There is a constant shuttle to take you around. It doesn't have a lot of amenities compared to other big new places but for us it was perfect. The location is nice for exploring Costa Rica. Some nice restaurants within walking distance of you want a break from the all inclusive. The unit had a full kitchen, big sitting area, nice beds. Lots of birds, some monkeys, iguana etc. If you get upset that one type of wine isn't available for a day its not for you but if you go with the flow you likely will be very happy here

This resort deserves a 1 star, that is because of the geographical location and the views, otherwise would be a zero. Its a rundown place, no upgrades here for a long time. Food selection very poor all week long, rice,beans, one kind of meet. No wine available, they run out of tquila, beer, towels. Skunks under the deck around main bar, some night stinks. Beach around resort is dirty, chairs are disgusting. People are friendly, nothing they can do about the issues. There is a reason why this resort is only on Expedia.

The icean was visible from our room. The property needs some major updates. There was mold in the bathroom around the sealant but otherwise the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had booked the suite that was supposed to have a free mini bar amd a spa credit, yet did not receive amy of those amenities whatso ever. Every time i requested these i was given the run arojnd and was told tk talk to several different people who would tell me to talk to someone else. That wa very, very disappointing and frustrating.

The place is operating on a shoe string budget. The all inclusive is so limited they should just said include breakfast lunch and dinner. They're do not have any activities on site. The suppose to be find doning is only applicacle for romantic room everyone else tough luck. They give you one set of towel for your entire stay. No wash cloths. No body wash or shampoo. There's mosquitos in the room. The place is old and nver been renovated. The food is not covered so flies are everywhere. I wouldn't recommended to anyone.

The hotel was a very bad experience upon arriving in Costa Rica. There was no hot water, no Wi-Fi. The staff were very professional, like Pablo, Randal, and Javier from the tours department, and from the spa, excellent, Josue and his employees. The bathrooms by the pool were very dirty. The towels were yellowed, the villas need repairs, the villa door was not secure. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were of very poor quality and repetitive, the shuttles were slow, Playa Hermosa was dirty and poorly maintained. There were two chairs to sit on in the small balcony, and someone took them, a dog attacked me in the villa next to mine.Overall, Condovac needs to be renovated. The most beautiful sunset but horrible hotel.

The location and the view is amazing . We had a platinum villas it is a big 2 floor room with a balcony. 5 minutes walk to the beach. The buffet is small and typical costarican food but the quality is there its good and it was perfect for us for breakfast and lunch. The resort is on a hill but the bus passes every 10minutes so its fine.

We had such a nice time! I went with my husband and one year old and we were a little worried because of the reviews but people with impossible expectations have the loudest voices. The shuttle service was constant and excellent, the towel service was always available when we needed it. Indescribably amazing view! Nestled into nature with monkeys, exotic birds flying by. Not overcrowded- theres lots of space to enjoy peacefully with your family. Clean pools, great drinks and safe beach protected in a bay. Staff are super friendly and helpful happy people.

The housekeeper Ana was the exceptional part of my stay. She went above and beyond as a housekeeper. I’ve traveled the world and stayed in 100’s of hotels and resorts. I’ve never had such great service out of one single person. If she isn’t the boss, she should be. In real life outside of vacation I run a crew of 100’s of people. Give that woman an crew and have her train them on EXACTLY what to do! She’s the one! I recognize leaders in their field when I see them. She’s the leader! We had a great stay at the resort, thank you to all who work there

Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. However, the remote controls batteries were dead, no coffee in the rooms with a coffee pot present. Facilities were pretty rundown. Needs paint, tile work, etc. All the drinks were the cheapest of quality. Staff was not multilingual. No real restaurants on the resort. Most all meals served in buffet style not very good food .

We stayed here for six nights. The room itself was very spacious, clean, and well equipped. Having a full kitchen and a large living area was a big plus, and the AC worked perfectly throughout our stay. Overall, the comfort of the room was good. However, we did experience one major issue. There was a noticeable sewage smell in the room that became stronger as the week went on. By the end of our stay, we were closing the bathroom door and covering the sink drains because the odor was quite unpleasant. Unfortunately, this significantly affected our comfort. The resort is very quiet, with little to no entertainment on site. This may be ideal for couples or families looking for a peaceful stay. However, backpackers or travelers looking for more atmosphere might prefer staying closer to Plaza Coco, which is nearby and offers a more lively vibe. As for the food, it was average. If you’ve stayed at standard all-inclusive hotels in places like Cuba, it’s comparable — fairly repetitive and somewhat bland. Not terrible, but not a highlight of the stay either. The location itself is beautiful, and for the price, it wasn’t unreasonable. Overall, I would rate it between 3 and 3.5 stars. With improvements to the odor issue and some upgrades to the food variety, it could be significantly better.

Clean room. Great staff. Amazing location. Fix the hot tub to wok hot, not cold. Make it for adults only to prevent children accidents. I picked your resort for hot tub use not cold tub use.
