"The staff was very helpful. It was a stormy afternoon when we arrived. The hotel is right by the Shirahama beach( 2 minutesā€™ walk). Our room was on the top floor with ocean view, and we could see the sunrise and watch the surfers catching the waves. There is a 7-Eleven and Family Mart nearby. The room was very spacious. If you booked a Japanese-style room, you have to make your futon bed yourself. The futon was very comfortable !!! I didnā€™t get a chance to use the onsen as I have a tattoo, but it looks busy, very busy, especially at night. Overall, we had a great time staying at Hotel Izukyu. It was spacious, and the views from our room were amazing! I will definitely stay here again."
