"If you are going to Hakone, you should stay, and stay at the Fujiya Hotel for at least two nights. This place is magical, and the staff are unbelievably attentive and kind. The onsen is the definition of relaxing and has amazing views. The massage and facial were amazing. The western breakfast was so good, and the dinner at the restaurants in the hotel is worth the price for the experience. Don’t miss your opportunity to stay here if you pass through Hakone!"

"This establishment was an awesome choice for our Hakone visit, a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. The was great reception and attentiveness of the staff, to unlimited amenities, and spacious room with a private open air bath, all exceeding our expectations. The public bath area was very nice and well worth time spent to include saunas. Additionally, included was an extensive spread for breakfast and dinner - you are sure to walk away satisfied. The food was so fresh and flavorful, I wanted to ask for recipes. The staff was helpful, friendly offering 1st class service. "I love Toyoko-Inn in Odawara!!! They give free breakfast!!!! And their breakfast is great with many dishes! The kitchen staff is AMAZING! They are great ladies, always saying "Good morning!" and "Thank you very much." The hotel staff is friendly and helpful! The rooms are really nice! As in many hotels in Japan, rooms are only cleaned once AFTER each 3 nights, i.e., on the day of the 4th nice. It's "ECO Stay." Free coffee until midnight EVERY DAY!!!! Their coffee is GOOD! Don't go to Starbucks :-) Washing clothes is cheap. 200 yen to wash a 5KG load. 100 yen every 30 minutes to dry, but it seems the dryers are not on high heat setting. So, you might want to dry the non-heavy clothes first, like shirts/t-shirts, then the heavy ones with themselves with extra 100 yen coins. I would stay at Odawara Toyoko-Inn! They are a bit better than the Toyoko-Inn in Yashio, Tokyo!"
