「Everyone in New Orleans is nice The house is a "shotgun" so the living room is first followed by walk thru bedrooms X 2 then the kitchen and baths. My party had no issues with this but if someone is very shy they may take offense. There is a great diner on the corner run by the lovely Fatma, Fabulous coffee. My only suggestion is to add a hook or two in the smaller bathroom. I would definitely recommend this property」

「The Fairchild House is very charming, and all in all, is a nice place to stay, with reasonable rates. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was plentiful and good. Shrimp and grits on the weekend was so good, my husband became a convert. My biggest complaint is the tiny shower stall which needs something to make the shower floor non-slip. The bed was comfy, but the pillows were almost useless. The place was clean enough, with minor exceptions.」
