Perfect location!

My sister our friend and I chose this townhome in Key West for the location and quietness from Duval. It was perfect. We wanted to be really close to everything to walk to on Duval and the Green Parrott bar and it was spot on for us. Duval is never quiet and is always loud but our stay with Avant was super quiet and relaxing at night and accommodated us girls just how we needed. Will absolutely stay here again!

The perfect place!

This was the perfect place for us! It was immaculately clean, so cutely decorated, and had everything we needed for the perfect stay! Nice quiet neighborhood within walking distance to all the hoopla on Duval Street! We loved it!

We will stay again. Beautiful place - spacious, immaculate and conveniently located to Duval Street. Loved the covered back deck with grill, table and chairs and a lounge chair. Also a ceiling fan on those hot Key West days and nights.

Great place to stay while in Key West

The property had everything we needed and nice to come back to after walking around exploring Key West. It was clean, organized and seemed to have everything we needed if we looked for it. The best part might have been the location. Just a few blocks from Duval street and a short stroll to the Truman Waterfront Park. Then we discovered the Duval Loop buses that you can hop on and off off that go all around the island...and they were free. It also runs right by the property to hop on. I would highly recommend.

The condo was in a great location. The pool and surrounding deck was very small. The condo.was clean and well appointed. Our bed watching fine but our friends said there's was too hard. The windows and doors had no screens so we couldn't open them. The sofa and chairs in the living room are very worn and need to be replaced.

The Truman Annex is not only beautiful and private, but it's uniquely positioned right next to the heart of Duval St and all the excitement Key West has to offer. We visited with a family of 4 including very small children and the Annex was ideal. Between the waterpark/splash pad, play structures, museum, and Fort Zachary Park + Beach a short walk or bike ride away - I will never stay any place else in Key West. Shelly's place is super clean, very modern looking, and an ideal unit in the Annex. No complaints, great customer service. Perfect!!

Very Pleased

My wife and I and 3 of our children (college aged) spent a week at Place in Paradise in the Truman Annex in May of 2015. The unit was clean and very comfortable. The Truman Annex community was ideal. A beautiful and quiet sanctuary yet only a 2 block walk to the action on Duval St and Mallory Square. The only thing that could stand an upgrade in the unit is the living room pullout couch. If using it as a couch only, it is fine - but as a pullout bed, it has seen better days. We assigned it to our teenage son (who has the ability to sleep like a rock on any surface.) All in all, if you are planning to be in Key West, this must certainly be among the very best accomodations you could wish for.

We arrived to a very clean and fresh smelling unit. It was in a perfect location, we were able to walk everywhere. It was a treat to walk in Truman annex. We loved the back covered deck. Everything was in working order. The bathrooms are small but functional. Good water pressure in my shower. The furniture in the living room is a little dated and not that comfortable. The beds were a little hard and made it difficult for me to sleep but that may be a personal preference. Overall it was a good value for the money. The communication and check in/check out process were so very easy which made for no stress. We never made it to the pool but it looked really nice. Everyone we met was helpful and friendly. Everything that you could need was provided, coffee maker/blender/towels etc. We definitely would come back.

Truman Annex did not disappoint, and neither did our stay at a Place in Paradise. We exclusively stay in the annex for the amenities of a townhouse, the surroundings and atmosphere. No issues with the property and it was clean and well stocked with everything you could need.

Tight Quarters - Well Equipped - Tranquil - Good for a small family

One word to describe this rental: TIGHT. You are RIGHT on top of your neighbor with little or no privacy in all outdoor areas. The baths are TINY. The beds are small. The stairs are LOUD (you'll wake up anyone staying with you when you go up/down them). If none of those comments bother you - this rental could work for you. If you are in KW to enjoy the tranquility in a "family oriented" early up/early to bed area - this is it. The house was well equipped. There was plenty of storage space in the closets. Lots of towels and linens. TVs were fairly new with cable on all of them. The beds (including the sleeper sofa) were relatively comfortable (average). The kitchen had everything you would need. The @Home people were good. We were surprised to find the office closed at 2PM on Saturday, but our keys were right there in the "after-hours" lock box and easily accessed. We had cable issues during our stay and the office (Lida) was very responsive. One thing you should be aware of: POOL RULES. Two rules that will make us think twice about staying here again: The pool is only open DAWN TO DUSK. And as bad...NO DRINK OR FOOD ALLOWED BY THE POOL. Really? Who does need AT LEAST a bottle of water?!?!? Bottom line: If you are a tight, small family - this rental will work well for you.
