Kihei Bay Surf 117 is an affordable studio located across the street from the ocean. You will love having the convenience of a kitchen while you are on vacation that will allow you to cook your own meals or grab a quick breakfast. Decorated with traditional style Hawaiian decor and overlooking the tennis courts, this is a great place to stay for your vacation in Maui.

Bedding Configuration:
Living Room: 1 Murphy bed

Living Room: Including a pull out Murphy mattress, the living room provides an open living and sleeping space for guests. It is connected by large, sliding doors to the outdoor lanai as a convenient breezeway and source of natural light.

Kitchen: This fully-equipped kitchen has all you need to prepare and enjoy food during your stay on Maui, with plenty of cabinet and refrigerator storage space.

Lanai: This lanai, overlooking the ground's tennis courts and gardens, offers ample space to relax and enjoy the breeze well-known to Kihei's trade winds.

Not fancy, but gets the job done

Perfect for a low-key stay in the Kehei area. For when you just want a jumping off point to change clothes and sleep, but otherwise be out and about. We used the kitchen for snacks and drinks, but didn't end up cooking anything. Not fancy or updated, but that's why we chose it $$. Perfect for what we were looking for for a quick 5-day trip to attend a friend's wedding at Kihei gold course.

Nice, simple unit

Perfect for what we needed, just my mom and I visiting family in Kihei. The management was very fast to respond when we had a small issue. Simple accommodations, the bed was actually quite comfortable which was a concern for me before we arrived.

at Kihei Bay Surf

Nice place, but a little hard to get info about laundry for example, with no office on site. People contacted by phone at main office were quite helpful though. Very comfortable and near lovely little beach.

Wouldn't recommend

The place had an odour every time we walked in. It didn't feel or smell clean. Everything needs an update. It was a Murphy bed, but it wasn't that uncomfortable. You can hear EVERYTHING that happens above you, and the tennis court is right outside your window, so there's NO privacy. Coffee maker just spills everywhere. Worst off, the cleaner or SOMEONE came into the place 45 minutes before checkout and caught one of us coming out of the shower. Location was the only feature here - we didn't like to spend time there, and felt more comfortable on the beach.

Very Central location for touring Maui!

The place is very basic and affordable. Nothing fancy, but definitely comfortable to crash and get ready for an amazing Maui day. The toilet flush was a little problematic but we figured out the trick. The bed was comfortable to sleep. The A/C was working fine.

Perfect place to crash while visiting Maui. Close to lots of restaurants. Across the street from a small beach. Nice to have access to a kitchen, too. Easy driving distance from many main activities on the island (15 min to many boating activities; 30-45 min to Lahaina and Ka’anapali).

Came for my buddy’s wedding

Quiet apartment complex. Close to beaches, restaurants, flea markets, stores etc. Fully furnished plenty of towels for the apartment and the beach, everything you need for the beach, cookware was in the unit, toilet paper, paper napkins, dishwasher soap, dish soap, hair dryer, COFFEE etc. The only thing is the place needs to be updated. But overall good place to stay and I would stay again. 👍🏼

Good Value for the money

This unit is a good value for the money it was clean and everything works as advertised and it was stocked with all the essentials. The complex was very quiet and the pool and hot tub were excellent and there is a very nice bbq area down by the pool. You are close by restaurants and shopping and about 20 min. From airport. The reason I only gave it three stars is because the unit is older and in bad need of some upgrades maybe some new furniture,fresh paint,flat screen etc. but if all you are looking for is a place to sleep while you explore Maui then this is a great value if there was an option for 3 1/2 stars I would have given it.

Budget friendly but needs updating

My husband and I knew we would be spending only the evenings here and the rest of the time out and about. The bed and couch cushions are very old and uncomfortable, the bathroom flooring is peeling up and fan does not work, the sink would not drain but my hubby is handy and got it to drain. The pool area is nice. It would have been good to know that washer and drier are coin operated as we did not have a roll of quarters on us. (its been a while since we needed to use a facility for washing). For the most part is a fairly clean, dry place to stay so I hate to be ungrateful. Just letting others know what they are getting ahead of time.
