“Wonderful location.Bothy was very well equipped .Great to be able to sit out side on the decking having a coffee and looking on to the loch where I saw a family of seals most days.At night it was great to have a very comfortable bed to sleep in and in the morning have a refreshing in the spacious shower.The family who own the bothy also provided an electric fan because the weather was very hot .Looking forward to going back sometime because it is such a beautiful spot.”

“Melfort Village is terrific.
Beautiful setting and marvellous accommodation.
There is a pool, tennis court, putting green, restaurant /bar (great food)and lots of space. The staff are great, enthusiastic and helpful.Walks in the nearby hills or to the lochs. The Village is well placed for access to the magnificent nearby scenery (but do not follow the receptionist recommendation as to how to get to the falls - the road is a nightmare and there is a longer but better way!). “Very convenient location (to walk around Oban, and to grocery stores), beds were quite comfy, check-in was very easy, and host was very responsive. Lovely spot, would definitely stay again. Only complaint is that it was a little untidy (crumbs in the kitchen, some surfaces dusty).”

“This was our first visit to the West Highlands and we were not disappointed. A beautifully maintained resort within a spectacular setting.
