「The cabin is nice and cozy. They have a welcoming gift of baked cookies and souvenir mugs. So thoughtful! This place is so easy to drive and very near to New Gorge national park. And I recommended traveling here during fall because it is more fantastic around seeing beautiful shades of leaves while relaxing in the cabins hot tub! But if you want nature, do come here anytime of the year! 」

Hampton Inn is our preferred place to stay, so glad we could add this hotel to our list of outstanding locations. Our only complaint is with what Hampton Inn provides for breakfast. 「It was really relaxing. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. It did seem a bit pricey for what it was but it’s kinda of your only option for a decent overnight traveling this route. Outback next door is good but there’s a really nice local steak place up the road a piece if you want an impressive meal.」

「The room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom had small shampoo, conditioner, body wash amenities in tubes. Shower only, no tub, very clean bathroom. Clean towels and bed linens. The breakfast was simple, but good, microwavable sausage biscuit sandwiches, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, juice and coffee. Breakfast area was well stocked and clean. The hot tub is not currently filled, and the laundry room is also out of order.」
