Schönes Haus in traumhafter Gegend
Ich und mein Mann waren mit unseren beiden Hunden 3 Wochen hier. Das Haus ist groß und gemütlich eingerichtet. Es gibt eigentlich alles was man braucht. Meinem Mann fehlte nur eine Kaffeemaschine :) Man hat alles was man braucht in der Nähe (Supermärkte, Restaurants, Bars, Shopping, Aktivitäten). Der Nationalpark ist wunderschön und man hat viele Möglichkeiten zum Wandern. Das war unser Hauptgrund für den Urlaub. Aber auch nach Glasgow oder Edinburgh war es nicht zu weit für einen Tagesausflug. Man wohnt wirklich sehr zentral, um auch mal die ein oder andere Ecke von Schottland zu erkunden. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen!

Der Aufenthalt war wunderbar. Das Haus ist perfekt eingerichtet und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Für Ausflüge ist es ideal gelegen, egal ob wandern am Loch an Eilean, SUP-Paddeln am Loch Morlich oder radeln entlang des Spey. Man benötigt allerdings ein Auto zur übernehmen kleinerer Strecken. Sehr empfehlenswert

Great choice!
My family and I stayed at Sneuk Head Kingussie, in the Cairngorms - Scottish Highlands. It was a fantastic choice. It was clean, well-maintained and had great access to nearby attractions. We were thrilled with the location and had a wonderful time exploring the stunning scenery of the Highlands. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, providing us with plenty of room to relax after a long day of hiking and sightseeing. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to cook meals during our stay, and the beds were comfortable and cozy. We also appreciated the attention to detail and the little touches that made the accommodation feel like a home away from home. Overall, I would highly recommend this Vrbo accommodation to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient base from which to explore the Scottish Highlands. The combination of cleanliness, comfort, and excellent location make it a great choice for families, couples or solo travelers. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future

warm and welcoming
this is a well kept well maintained property there was lots of room for all the family, as described there was a beautiful view from the front of snow capped hills and a field of sheep from the back. The house seemed to have every thing we needed from a well stocked kitchen to toys and games for the kids. I also like the location, being just 15 minutes from Aviemore. All in all i would have no hesitation in recommending this property

Best places to stay in Highlands
Convenient location to visit the Lochs And the national park Family friendly house and neighbourhood, if travelling with kids and grandparents. Very good facilities inside the house with downstairs bedroom with enusite and separate WC downstairs. Location of the house and veiws are amazing. Good wifi connectivity Mike the owner always available for help and advice. Fantastic host. Thanks Mike. Highly recommendable and will not hesitate to visit again .

It was a lovely spacious property in a fantastic location in the highlands .
It was a very comfortable spacious and well equipped house. We enjoyed our stay very much . Sadly our adult children could not be with us as expected but hope we can come again another time as a whole family .

Excellent place to live.
The Sneuk Head had been the perfect holiday house for my family. The property was in quite place with all necessary facilities. Manager was very easy to get in touch if there is any problems but there wasn’t any problem at all. I have planned to come for winter skiing.

Great property in a lovely location with a great owner.
We had a lovely trip. The house has character, located just off a farm. The property has everything you need and for 8 people(including young kids), we were impressed with the space and toilets available. You are already in a scenic setting and we spent time in the garden, however its so close to the A9 (without hearing it) its so handy. We had a small problem caused by irresponsible previous occupants but Mike rectified it straight away, was brilliant and communicating in general too. Couldn't recommend the owner, the property or the setting enough. Hope you enjoy your trip!

Family holiday
We had a wonderful holiday in Lynchat and found the property to be just what we required. 4 adults and 4 children were accommodated with room for all of us at the dining table which was lovely. Great access in and around the Cairngorm mountains. Kingussie within easy reach for shops and cafes and a variety of Lochs, Watersports, museums, book shops and animal reserves too. Plenty to do and see. A really special trip. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Excellent holiday home
It was the best holiday home. The house is very clean, warm and surrounded by very nice and beautiful scenery. This house has got everything you need. Even lot of toys and games for all sorts of age. Amazing!!! It is also only 30 minute drive from Cairngorm mountain resort. Local shops are only few minutes drive. It is the best place to stay for family holiday or travelling with friends.

Beautiful area,beautiful house
we came from Spain with a lot of enthusiasm and it does not disappointed,we recommended this house without doubt,above all for families.The area around the house is fantanstic,the nearest town,Kingussie is a beautiful place for visit and for walking and you can go to the most incredible places such ,as Aviemore or Inverness or to visit the Cairngorm Park or mountain...very near from the house. The house has got all facilities that you expect or more..and the owner solved one little problem that we had very fast . All fantastic,the house and the area arround,very recommended! Gloria.

Jederzeit wieder
Das Haus liegt in Lynchat einige Kilometer von Kingussie entfernt. Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen und 1 Kind da. Alle Zimmer sind geräumig und bieten genug Platz. Der Esstisch ist gross genug das alle gemütlich dran sitzen können. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Es gab auch einen Gasgrill, doch leider hatte der Vormieter ihn wohl nicht sauber gemacht. Das Haus hat einen kleinen Garten mit Blick auf die Berge und wenn wir wieder nach Schottland reisen, würden wir das Haus auch wieder buchen. Thanks Michael

An splendid holiday with Mediterarian weather
This was our second visit to this excellent house, clean and well equipped. Much time was spent on the decking in the sunshine enjoying the birds in the garden and the nice view. Main visits were to the Highland Wildlife Park as members and to the beach at Loch Morlich, warm enough for swimming! We saw ospreys at Loch Inch and enjoyed walks in the Abernethy forest.

Sehr schönes Haus in schöner Lage. Sehr empfehlenswert!!
Das Haus hat alles was man braucht, es ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist ruhig und ländlich, man ist aber in ein paar Minuten im nächsten Ort, wo es alles gibt was man möchte. Die Betreuung und Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr angenehm und freundlich. Es war eine sehr schöne Woche und wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Warm and welcoming - especially the gifts, one being Champagne, on our arrival.
We stayed over Christmas and much appreciated touches like a decorated Christmas tree. The house itself was warm, comfortable and we all fitted in immediately. As it was Christmas quite a lot of cooking was done and the kitchen had everything that we needed. It was a flexible house and accommodated 5 of us with ease. Having an en suite bedroom on the ground floor was wonderful for an elderly member of our party. Being able to go for a walk, in lovely countryside, from the back door was an added bonus. Any questions we had before we went to Lynchat were answered promptly and positively by Michael. All in all we had a lovely stay and would thoroughly recommend this house.

Picturesque place with scenic views in all directions. Centrally located. Very well connected to other parts of the Scotland. 2 Minutes drive from A9. So natural. Very well equipped with all facilities and amenities for you to just go there and have your best time of your life. Kids loved it. We loved it. Very warm and cozy. Lovely people and welcoming neighbours. Wish we were there for ever. It's a Heaven at the mercy of weather!. Everything is there, Thank you Michael & family.

Great framily vacation with everything to make it wonderful

Fantastic House with glorious views.
It was our first trip to this area and we loved it! The house was the perfect base and the photo's just don't do it justice. We were very comfortable and the house has everything that you need. It was lovely to come back to at the end of a tiring day out. We would definitely return without hesitation!

Wonderful location
We had a lovely Easter break in this comfortable house. Well equipped property in a quiet village outwith the hubbub of Aviemore but with so many things to do close by to please our 3 generations. We enjoyed walks and cycles on the farm tracks from the back door. We visited the Insh Marshes RSPB Reserve, Highland Wildlife Park, Highland Folk Museum, Loch an Eilen, quirky cake shop at Inshriash, Loch Insh Watersports and Skiing, Leault Sheepdogs, Alvie Zip Trek, Rothiemurcus cycling, Loch Morlich and the Cairngorm Mountain Railway. Two tips: stop in the lay-by opposite the white church at Kincraig and from the path up to the kirk you get a great view of the Osprey nest on Loch Insh; if you're visiting in the next 3-4months there is no petrol station in Aviemore - nearest is Newtonmore or Grantown-on-Spey! Hope to be back and would highly recommend property to others.

Excellent location, comfortable and clean property
This is the second time I have stayed at Sneuk Head. Again the house was clean and very comfortable. Six of us stayed this time and we had a very enjoyable time. Splitting into small groups we went up the funicular railway on Cairngorm, visited the Culloden battlefield, enjoyed the Rheindeer centre and various walks in the area. Plus, four rounds of golf at Newtonmore (2), Kingussie and Boat of Garten. All three courses are recommended, with marvellous views at Kingussie. The "Boat" is highly rated - my favourite course in the area. One or two small niggles - the oil boiler emits a powerful odour, especially in the morning or after returning when the windows have been closed and the mirror in the bathroom is far too low for someone 6'4" tall! However, I have no hesitaion in recommending Sneuk Head and would stay again. Edward Little.

Beautiful property, superbly decorated and equipped.
We were amazed and delighted with this property. The views are stunning, the decor is excellent and the house is superbly equipped in every conceivable way, from satellite tv, games machine, books in the rooms, excellent cooking facilities etc. on top of this the service from the owner was very friendly and professional. We loved our stay and hope to stay again in the future.

Fantastic house and location
For the first few nights there were 4 adults, 4 children and a dog, the house was easily big enough for all of us. When one family left, the house seemed huge. The location is peaceful but close enough to both Aviemore and Kingussie to enjoy their options. There are a couple of dog-walking options and the scenery is brilliant. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a base to explore the surrounding areas. Michael, the owner, has thought of almost everything for the house, including the supply of firewood for the log burning stove in the living room. The communications were superb and I will definitely be telling friends all about this wonderful place.

Great cottage, good location.
We had a fantastic stay in your warm, comfortable and well appointed cottage in a beautiful part of Scotland. It was ideally placed for skiing and highland wildlife park. Everything we needed for a family break! The place was clean and well maintained and we had great communication with the owner. Recommend.

Fabulous place to stay
Sneuk Head was absolutely great and we had a wonderful stay. The rooms are a good size and finished to a really nice standard. Twin beds were small for our tall teenagers but we appreciated all the extras the house came with like the wifi, DVDs, books, games. We also loved the fireplace though the chimney we think had become blocked because it was overly smokey so we had to put it out on night two. For those travelling to the house at night when is dark, the sign that says Sneuk Head is really hard to spot because it is against the house and car lights don't shine on it as you drive past. We'd definitely recommend this house and think we'll return in the summer to enjoy some walking and the scenery. Thanks for having us Michael!

Fantastic New Year break
Myself and some friends stayed in Sneuk Head for New Year. The house had all the basics and so much more that we needed and was very clean and set up for our arrival. It was lovely to have a wood burner and made for the perfect atmosphere in the surroundings. The house is well located being a few minutes drive from the main road and well connected to all rail routes. It is in an ideal location for many walks, nature trails and out door activities. We found plenty of games within the house to keep occupied during the evenings. The owner responded to all inquiries promptly and made the whole booking process very easy. A lovely place to stay and would recommend to anyone considering.
