"The entire stay was in the midst of a great rain storm but the stay was absolutely lovely. The rooms were comfortable, the environment was very pet and family friendly. My only complaint if I had one was the necessity for the floors to be swept before our stay. There were sand bits on the floor, from what i assume was brought in from the hosts or the last guests. Beyond that, we enjoyed the spacious yet comfy stay. Thank you to Ryan for staying in good contact with me. "

"The location was great. We have stayed at Pirates Cove several times and love being on the sound. We saw dolphins from the deck and caught crabs from the dock. Having a great restaurant and bar on site is a plus. The house is nicely decorated but we found the furnishings to be lacking. The sofas in the living area are small and not comfortable for relaxing. The beds are mattresses placed on bed frames with no foundation. Low to the ground and not very comfortable. None of the bedrooms had...

"Overall our stay was a good one. But in the living room we noticed droplets on floor near large sofa. We believe someone had a pet there because our son had a allergic reaction. But we cleaned up and sprayed the room. Thank you for the rental but it was more of a 3 day stay then a 4 day stay. I have learned to double check for that next time. Take care!"

The walk to the beach was just a couple of blocks. The house was perfectly centered for activities both north and south of Nags Head. Lots of communication took the guess work out of check in and check out. "
