「Lovely time and comfortable accommodations. Everything was clean and beautiful with unique and stylish decor. All amenities were available that one could need. The host answered all our questions promptly and provided all information about the property and activities in the area. We love the Outer Banks and we would stay here again.」

「We escaped to this lovely apartment for a long holiday weekend. Located I the heart of Avon we didn’t need a car at all our bikes suited us just fine. We were content and felt at home with everything we needed」

「Great room /location / property. Lee has a beautiful home & this is nicer than any hotel room available. It does not have a full kitchen (nor is that advertised), but the mini fridge & microwave are adequate for shorter stays. We stayed 3 nights & would certainly return for same amount of time in future. Grounds are meticulously manicured & boardwalk to Sound is equally inviting for sunsets or just to watch the kiters!」

「We stayed for one month and it was a great experience. Mike, the shop manager, was very friendly and helpful. Excellent location if you are looking to be away from it all and close to the beach. 」

「We had so much fun at this property! I felt like it was perfect because we had a washer and dryer, so it was great for washing clothes for our baby (we traveled with a 7 month old). I liked that there were 2 bathrooms, and the bedrooms were extremely spacious! This didn’t really bother us, but keep in mind that the location isn’t right on the beach. I would say it’s about a 15 minute walk to the beach through some neighborhoods behind the cabanas. And Hatteras is known for mosquitoes, so if...

「We absolutely loved the cabana and the personnel at Wtermen’s retreat! From check in to dining and the water sports offered, all were nothing short of spectacular! We had a blast at our cabana and the beach was a short walk away. The food at the restaurant was fabulous and the sunsets were freaking awesome! I highly recommend this resort at the Outer Banks of NC.」

Management was responsive and easily accessible, and having REAL Watersports just across the street was super convenient with a beautiful view. Would definitely recommend staying with Waterman's」
