「This is a cracking flat within a short walk of Dumfries town centre. From the outside, the flats don’t look too inspiring, but it’s clearly been renovated recently and it’s been done really nicely. The two rooms are pretty much identical doubles, and the living room/kitchen is a good size. Nice views of the river from most rooms, and a lovely small balcony coming off the main living area. Would definitely come back if in the area. 」

「Cottage was clean cosy and comfortable. It is about 15 mins drive to castle douglas. Owners live next door so easy to contact with minor issues. We were familiar with local area as visited frequently before.」

「After a communications issue I got the code and enjoyed our sunny happy space. Had a couple suggestions for owner who responded quickly. Frustrated with VRBO/Expedia for shirking responsibilities for fees and chose to blame owner. Poor customer service from the company but owner’s efficiency more than compensated for their failure.」
