“Upon check in at this property, there were signs of a cockroach infestation and a live cockroach was seen in the kitchen. The apartment also was not clean. I chose not to stay at the property due to concerns over safety and cleanliness and the "owner" Jasmine only refunded a portion of the rental fee. Through some Google searching, I was able to find the property management company in charge of the apartment complex where this property is located (FPI Management). I spoke with a representative……

“This unit was NOT a quiet getaway. The exterior environment was great. People seemed nice and quiet. However, the unit’s windows are right on the street, so you constantly hear cars and motorcycles zooming down the street. This street noise is only drowned out when you turn on the heat, which sounds like an airplane taking off inside the apartment. If you turn off the heat the apartment temp dips to 67 degrees. Also, I wonder if there are several units available because the unit does not look……

“It was found to be a real let-down. I had anticipated a living arrangement where I could invite family/friends for an evening of camaraderie. Instead what I found was a living room with no TV, no music, no available seating and instead had a large bunk bed, a large dresser, a table with 4 chairs and a refrigerator; an outside area that had a torn gazebo, dirty, rusty swing and a weedy garden; a bedroom that had a TV that didn't work, a mobile air conditioner that shut off after the first day;……

“The property is located just a few blocks from a quaint little “Village” of shops. They often set up love music and other local events. Thaddeus, the owner, is an amazing host and one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. He keeps the property clean and in pristine condition at all times.
