This hotel was right on the bay with beautiful views. We were delayed for our arrival and were very pleased to see their restaurant was open until 23:00. The food was delicious. The room was clean and spacious. The parking was safe with plenty of spaces. It is a short drive to old town. The road is very narrow but added to the appeal.

Most friendly staff, good restaurant, location is perfect with beautiful views. Rooms are spotless clean, only not a lot of luxury (only body wash available, no watercoocker or iron and board). We had a wonderful time and like I said, the staff was the most friendly I ever experienced.

Beautiful property, right on the water. Parking can get a little crowded, but I can't say I've been anywhere in Montenegro where parking wasnt a little bit crowded. Staff was super friendly. The restaurant was memorable with a great view of the boats coming in and out of the bay. The room was spotless, with working A/c. Overall, would highly recommend.

Excellent hotel!!! My only complaints: No elevator. We stayed on the 3rd floor and no one helped us with our bags, and there is no lighting in the stairwell and was very dark at night . Could be dangerous. Otherwise, our stay was perfect. Great breakfast, beautiful views and the dinner at the restaurant was wonderful!

Really nice 2 day stay here. Our arrival was complicated due to a grueling 13 wait at the border when driving over from Dubrovnik. So we texted them in advance and they made sure we that there was someone waiting to give us a late check-in. Location is really nice, staff friendly and attentive. Room was nice with good bed and really good shower. Good functioning a/c. Breakfast good not huge selection but some variety from day to day. Had dinner one night and were not overly impressed. Pool was also nice.

Montebay Perla was amazing and I will be going back. It’s a wonderful little boutique hotel with amazing staff, clean and sizeable rooms with either mountain or bay views. They were very accommodating for my late arrival and very early departure setting up a ride to the airport. The serene beauty and quiet of the location was incredible and only 4km to the old city so well within walking or a short taxi ride that the hotel can set up. I loved the ability to walk out the front and take a swim in the bay as well. My dinner at their restaurant was fantastic as well and I even got to get a workout in at the small gym. I would highly recommend a stay here. Thank you Montebay for the hospitality and wonderful stay in Kotor!

Property is set in beautiful surroundings and hotel is great with excellent service and food. Extremely comfortable and would highly recommend for staying local and swimming in pool and bay. However transfer is a total nightmare into Kotor old town..really unreliable bus service meant to go hourly but never does. Shortage of taxis cos catering for cruise ships in old Kotor and ripoff when u actually get one..could hire a car but roads are very narrow and congested and driving is not for the faint hearted!

Great Location

Nice waterside hotel. First allocated room in rear building had a broken shower, so we were moved to a really nice room in the main building for our second night. Staff were all very friendly. Only downside was breakfast, not a great standard overall. On our checkout day we had to leave before breakfast began and were given a packed lunch. As there was no orange juice available we were offered bottled water, yet none was supplied ! These aspects aside it was a nice relaxing stay.

Perfect spot to escape the crowds, the drive in, is very tight and exciting some may call it harrowing. Parking at hotel was very good. Staff were very helpful and, food throughout the day was ok. Rooms were clean. Some places to eat further along the road with a supermarket also 100m away. Hotel desk can organise tours and taxis (perfect, staff were great).
