「DO NOT BOOK! Hotel is closed down. I’m writing this to ensure that no one else books this place, as Hotels.com has so far refused to pull this listing. The hotel does not exist. I spent nearly 3 hrs in the dark trying to find this place. Eventually, I did find the address, only to be yelled at in Serbian by a poor woman who now owns this as her home. If you book, you will be stranded. 」

「The apartments were easy to find and in a perfect location. Beautifully located along the edge of the water and just a 15 minute walk from the old city, Kotor. Also, within walking distance is a shopping mall, supermarket, and plenty of bars, cafes, and places to eat. The apartment had all the necessities and were clean and orderly... perfect for a multi night stay. The owners were nice and helpful and made you feel welcome. For sure, a great place to stay!」

「We had a wonderful stay here. The best views you will ever get. Two large bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. The bathroom in the primary bedroom has a bath tub with shower but I is really hard to get into as it is so close to the toilet. Finding it is the main problem as it is straight up a very narrow road. You feel like you are going for ever. 「We have had a wonderful 9 days at Castello Risano. Excellent service from booking and throughout the stay. The apartments are just beautiful and so well kept, very clean with lovely furnishings and the most incredible view over the bay of Kotor. The grounds and pool area are very well maintained, there’s free parking and a short walk down the hill to the local shops, restaurants and harbour. 「Great apartment and gorgeous views. Close to some nice restaurants and beach bars. Lucy and Sandra were great throughout our stay and helped us get a taxi back to the airport after we had some trouble booking. Apartment clean and well stocked with kitchen wear if you want to cook for yourself. The steps are a lot though so if you have mobility issues this is something to consider. Also a car is not a must if you're happy to walk or catch a taxi but there are a few steep hills to deal with. 」
