“Wir haben im Rahmen einer Familienreise ein paar Tage im Rare Earth Country House verbracht und waren total begeistert. Die Lage und die Umgebung sind perfekt und die Gastgeber sind bemüht jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten”

“We stayed at Hogs Hollow for two nights whilst driving the garden route and we loved our stay. Our room - no 17 (or rather suite) was stunning. Breathtaking views from our private veranda and a spacious room with living area and large bed, and not to mention a wood burner that was freshly laid each day kept those chilly nights away. But most of all the exceptional service was what made our stay. All the staff were very friendly and went above and beyond! Nothing was too much trouble, and when……

“Je dois manger sans gluten, c'est le seul et unique endroit où le chef cuisinier à eu plein d'intentions pour que je puisse profiter pleinement de mon séjour. Petit muffin sans gluten au petit déjeuner, idem pour les repas du soir, entrée plat dessert sans gluten. Je le remercie vivement pour cela. Accueil chaleureux. Rien à redire, endroit au calme exceptionnel, personnel discret et gentil. Bravo à tous ”

“Great place to discover the Tsitsikamma National Park. Quite a long drive to reach the hotel. Food was great and staff was very friendly. Overall, the hotel is a bit dated and mainly benefits from its great views. ”

Last minute reservation passing through, fabulous managers and staff and lions roaring to wake you! Great food, definitely bring your kids and take time for tours. “Gorgeous and peaceful. Sitting in the garden staring at the mountains looming nearby was awe-inducing. The staff was very helpful and I had a lovely breakfast in the morning. There was some noise, particularly barking dogs, late into the night from the homes across the street.”

“Tolle Umgebung. Auch das Village war sehr schön und fussläufig zu erreichen. Optimaler Startpunkt um die Kanutour in Tsisikama zu machen. Frühstück war in Ordnung. Es gab ein Buffet mit leckeren Quiches. Leider war alles kalt. Für einen Übernachtungsstop würden wir es wieder wählen”
