"The Villa Aloni exceeded all our expectations in terms of quality and facilities. We were looking for somewhere in "hidden Crete" and this property in Maza gave us a sense of rural remoteness but with access to the national road (and easy drives to Hania and Rethymnon) in 5 minutes. The villa was excellently equipped with every modern convenience (except a dishwasher which might have been an asset for a larger party). Everything worked effectively and when the kettle broke, this was replaced...

Rooms are a little basic but the AC and the balcony in the 2 bed apartment were great. If there was a way to lock the balcony doors in the kids bedroom that would have put my anxious mind at ease.
