"Friendly staff"

"This is a terrible hotel. It is not on the beach. You have to use a QR code and get beach chairs from a neighboring hotel and carry it to the beach yourself: there are no hotel beach chairs. Rooms are much smaller than noted. They are not near 300 sq ft but more like 150. Closer to a 3 star then a 5 star "

"Overall the property was fantastic with everything you need within walking distance. I booked 2 rooms with ocean views and feel like I was cheated out on that. Both rooms had a slight view of the ocean but more view of Diamond head and the surrounding city than ocean. When we walked in one room for the first time there was a terrible sour like smell. I notified housekeeping and they came to spray air freshener which took the smell away for a few hours, but it came back for my entire stay. "

"Everything was amazing except for our room was located directly above the gym that is open 24 seven and we heard pounding all throughout the night all throughout the day from the weights and the resort was full capacity so we weren’t able to switch rooms so we did not get much sleep the five days we were there. "

"The room was well equipped. We used the hot plate several times and it worked great! The room even had some extra items like sunscreen and bug spray which we appreciated! The elevator did break a few days in, but we were there in the middle of a crazy storm and heard lots of elevators in other buildings were breaking also. The bed was pretty comfortable and the window ac unit kept the room cool. The hosts were great at checking in and seeing how things were going, but we did struggle a bit figuring out how to check in, as the instructions were hard to find on the app. We liked that it was close enough to walk to the beach and there is a little convenience store that was close by. Did not notice a lot of road noise and it was pretty quiet at night which was nice. We were able to find parking pretty easily across the street. Overall a great place and we would come back! Thanks!"
