This property was well located, within walking distance to several train stations and bus stops giving quick and easy access to any part of Kyoto. The rooms were clean and tidy, small but well equiped.

It has a wonderful location, close to good landmarks, walkable distance to train stations and bus stops to the city centre. Although is a good idea to have self check-in option, having staff available to help for longer periods would be appreciated.

Property very clean. Check in isn't until 4 pm but we were able to leave our bags. Reception is only open until 10 pm. The walls are thin so you can hear people. Overall comfortable and affordable.

Tucked away in the most beautiful street this place was a real gem, it’s a decent walking distance to most everywhere in Kyoto if your like me and a 50 minute walk doesn’t bother you. The staff are super friendly and understanding of an accident that happened in the room and no extra charge was given too us. 100/10 stay!!!!

Pleasant experience throughout our 5 days here. We didn’t have high expectations being it was basically a self service hotel (room service every 3 days). Some highlights.. 1 - Bathroom clean and spacious enough with hot(!) water for showers. 2 - Powerful, effective room air conditioner. 3. The three bed room was surprisingly comfortable, amazing value if not the best in the Kyoto area. However, there are some minor complaints. 1- The room door annoyingly squeak/shake whenever other guests are entering/exiting their rooms on either side. 2 - The ultrasound fridge barely cools contents inside. 3 - Washer and dryer are one machine, duo function. Takes 1000s of yen and forever to dry. Better going to a nearby laundromat to save time and money. That being said, the facilities were newish, clean and had more space than hoped. I would stay here again. Thank you M’s.
