"We’re so glad we stayed at majestic mirage; the whole experience was excellent. The food was good, the rooms were nice, and the whole resort was beautiful. Our only regret was that we didn’t bring more cash to tip - the service was top notch everywhere in the resort so we burned through our tip money pretty quick. Speaking of great service, our butler David was the best. He was assigned to us when we got there and he went above and beyond in helping us have the best time possible. I’m very thankful David was assigned to us, and we will miss him! The resort does a great job at helping you feel relaxed with a beautiful beach, great pools, and bars not far from wherever you are, but you also have the option to do some cool excursions through go majestic (who we also did our airport pickup through and recommend that). We did the Santo Domingo tour and are very glad we did that. The only part of majestic that wasn’t top notch was the room service. It often took a while to get what we were asking for and if we ordered food it often wasn’t great. Be sure to choose the restaurants (we loved the Italian and steak house restaurants) over getting room service and make sure to give room service a buffer time if you need anything time sensitive. Overall, majestic mirage was wonderful and we highly recommend choosing it when visiting the Dominican."

"Unfortunately, what was meant to be a relaxing vacation turned into a deeply unpleasant and distressing experience. First and most concerning, I became ill after consuming food at the resort. I experienced severe nausea and repeated vomiting, which significantly impacted my ability to enjoy the trip and required me to remain confined to my room for extended periods. This raises serious concerns about the food safety standards at the property. Additionally, the condition of the room was unacceptable. I encountered cockroaches inside the room, including near sleeping and bathroom areas. This is completely unacceptable for a resort of this category and price point, and it made the environment feel unsanitary and unsafe. Service issues further compounded the situation. Room service and housekeeping were not provided for two consecutive days, even after I made multiple requests at the front desk. During this time, garbage accumulated, and basic cleanliness was not maintained. Similarly, obtaining fresh towels was an ongoing struggle. Despite repeated requests, towels were either delayed significantly or not provided at all, leaving us without essential amenities. Another major issue was the reliability of basic utilities. The electricity would go out multiple times a day, including during the night. In a hot climate like Punta Cana, this made it extremely difficult to sleep without air conditioning or a fan. Waking up repeatedly due to heat and discomfort"

"We stayed in Platinum suite. The room was clean and comfortable. The beach and pools were amazing. We were able to easily make dinner reservations at several of the dinner restaurants and loved the buffet restaurants, coffee shop, ice cream shop, etc. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. It was easy to move throughout the resort with the frequent shuttle/tram. The peacocks were plentiful and quite vocal. Bottled water was available in the room and at locations throughout the resort. Enjoyed everything about this all-inclusive resort."

"THIS IS NOT A 5 STAR RESORT NO MATTER WHAT THEY ADVERTISE OR ASPIRE TO BE. THIS IS OUR 5th TIME STAYING AT THIS RESORT. Location: 5 stars - beautiful beach - the best part of the resort. Premium Level: 2 stars due to issues with rooms - Booked 2 rooms with request for adjacent rooms. Resort initially gave us rooms very far apart in separate buildings. After 2 days moved to the same building with 1 room on first floor and the second room directly above on the third floor. My adult daughters got eaten up by mosquitos in that first floor room on the first night in that room. They moved to our room on the 3rd floor for 2 nights. They then moved to a 3rd floor room 4 doors down from us for the remainder of the stay. The people at the premium level desk did not seem to care. They kept saying that since we booked with Expedia they could not give us adjacent rooms or compensate us for the loss of use of the 1st floor room. Housekeeping: 2 stars - Rooms are clean. However, they leave the sliding doors open while cleaning causing mosquitos to enter the room. In the public areas, they mop the floors with some oily cleaner. My daughter slipped on the stairs and was in pain for the rest of our stay. Rooms: 1 star - Rooms are in dire need of updating. We had issues with hair dryers, safes not working, air conditioning cutting off because the sliding doors were closed but not aligned with the door sensors. Public Spaces: I sank down in every chair I sat in. Restaurants: 3 stars"

"Everything was perfect! We couldn't find anything wrong. The food, the staff, the whole structure, luxuries, how peacefully it was and well-maintained. We made an upgrade at the check in and they even add extra benefits for us including a free spa that was amazing. We enjoyed every moment and definitely we're planning on coming back."
