"My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. As a Black guest, I consistently felt that white guests were treated better. Making restaurant reservations was unnecessarily difficult, and even when seated, I was often served last or passed over entirely. The only restaurant where I received decent treatment was the Italian one.
The food overall was poor, the customer service was terrible, and the rooms had a strong musty smell. The only enjoyable parts of the trip were the excursions outside the hotel.
The most concerning incident happened the day before I left: I saw the housekeeper assigned to my room holding my bank pouch, and afterward I discovered money missing. She appeared startled when she saw me, and before I could ask her name, she quickly left and sent another housekeeper to retrieve her cart.
I would not recommend this hotel, especially to Black travelers, based on my experience."
