"The house was incredibly spacious with a wonderful kitchen and lots of space to entertain. Parking was ample and nice and flat, unlike a lot of places around that area, and communication with the host was amazing. She wanted to make sure we had everything we needed and told us to reach out if anything came up. Great place for a family event or large gathering. "

"We stayed at Norris Nook for thanksgiving 2025. Family of 25, we had plenty of room. House was clean and spacious. Loved fully stocked kitchen that had plenty of dishes and pots and pans for cooking thanksgiving dinner. Loved that there are two ovens and two fridges and two dishwashers, it was amazing for our big group! Plenty of seating with two large tables and seating around the island. One thing we were a little disappointed about, the beds weren’t done when we arrived, sheets were provided but beds not made. We had to do it ourselves, because of that some of the sheets didn't match the bed size and couldn’t be used(twin size sheets for queen bed) we had to use flat sheets to cover the mattress. Also, if staying there in the colder months, bring your warmer blankets. The covers on beds are very light and even though there were few throw blankets on couches and heaters, if you like a warm blanket, bring your own. Overall we really enjoyed our stay! "

"This is an old house. I and the people who stayed with me are used to older homes and were comfortable staying here but if you are looking for brand new, fancy lake houses, this is not the place for you. The location was exactly what we needed as it was half way between the lake and a wedding we were attending. It is close to stores, gas and anything you could need. We had a couple minor issues that I am messaging the owner about so they can be taken care of for other guests. Has a great back yard and is stocked with items to be able to cook and make your stay easy, even a high chair and games for those with little ones. "
