“I rarely write reviews about holiday stays but had to do so for our three night stay at Grange Manor. The room was fabulous-luxurious,spotless and so comfortable and the extra finishing touches made it a home from home. Breakfast served every morning in the room was a delight. No noisy dining room nor rush to have table cleared away. All was at our pace which was what we wanted. A peaceful haven in a beautiful setting with the most friendly and helpful staff made this break first class. We……
“Great hotel. Lovely room. The staff are a credit to the hotel. Breakfast very good. We cannot find any fault with our experience. Good job.
Kind regards
Sonia and Neil”
“The stay was extremely good value for money. Beautiful views over Morecambe Bay. Staff v helpful and food in restaurant tasty. You pay to park at car park separately but its directly in front of hotel. Room clean but could do with some upgrading.”
“Lovely quiet location on the edge of Cartmel with good road connections to the tourist areas of the Lakes. The place was spotless and well equipped but they really do only include bedding, towels and loo roll. Whatever else you need make sure you take it with you. It lacked hanging space for clothes in the bedroom and any place to put your cases. We were surprised it was a semi detached building, we could hear a lot of noise, especially doors closing in the attached unit. I would still recommend……
“Everything was ideal with this property and if you want to walk into Cartmel it’s also close enough to do so… it does seem a lot longer walking back from Cartmel however after you have sampled the excellent local ales 😬”
“Lovely position and inside rooms were good. The let downs were the outside areas entering the property the steps were grubby and dirty so a bit offputting, also the outside patio area was unusable due to it being overgrown and dirty. INSIDE the only fault was lack of tv information and no visable welcome book in veiw. We found the book just by chance a black book on a black stool in the corner of the kitchen.put it in full veiw”
